羅貝樓民宿(Robe House Heritage Accommodation)

Stayed here 1 night as last stop on Great Ocean Road. Had large apar**ent with combined lounge, kitchen and dining area. Separate bedroom, and good size bathroom. Breakfast supplies provided (bread, eggs, butter, jam, fresh fruit etc) along with various kitchen supplies. Private parking right at the front. Robe House is a very old building and retains lots of original features which adds to its charm. There is a large garden to sit out, and a bbq area. We found it very quiet even though the other rooms were occupied. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants. Would happily stay here again.

The accommodation was booked by our travel agent and perhaps we should have done a bit of research. When we arrived there was nobody around and it was not clear which room we had. We telephoned the number we had been supplied with but there was no reply and we also phoned the number that is displayed on the board outside the property only to discover that this number was for a previous owner. Eventually another couple turned up and discovered who had which room, The room we had was very good although it was a little dark. It is in a good location, close to the town and there is a good walk close by. On the documentation we had the property is described as Robe B&B and was a little surprised that an owner / manager was not at the property. I have never been to a B&B where breakfast is totally do it yourself.

Wir waren im kleinen Extra-Haus untergebracht. Hier gab es alles, was wir brauchten, die Ausstattung war hervorragend und von sehr guter Qualität. Das Bett war bequem. Leider hatten wir nur eine Übernachtung in Robe, hier sollte man definitiv länger verweilen.

Sono stato in Viaggio di nozze in Australia, attraversando la Great Ocean Road con la nostra auto a noleggio. Ci siamo fermati a Robe per una notte ed abbiamo soggiornato in questo Hotel. Comodo per muoversi a piedi e vicino a dei ristoranti ed al porto. Camera pulita e grande, con uno stile particolare ma molto confortevole. Consigliato

Very pleasant stay in this self contained bed & breakfast apar**ents. Breakfast is supplied for you and is adequate. Very comfortable bed & excellent shower & is very well positioned for local restaurants bars etc. we ate at Olives on the main high street which was excellent, also drinks and very good dessert at Callys again on the high street.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in a lovely old house, in fact the oldest house in Robe. Room was nicely set out and the breakfast provided was more than adequate. Set a short walk from the ocean it is a lovely place to stay for a few days. Room was very spacious and clean.

A room full of character. Very comfortable and clean. Well situated with somewhere for dinner and a pub nearby. Plenty of food for a prepare it yourself breakfast. Would have liked to have stayed an extra night as the town looked beautiful. Only disappoin**ent was that we did not see the owners at any time either to check in or check out.

Robe House builds itself as semi-independent bed and breakfast. Summary bed excellent, breakfast disappointing. Poor quality food which was uninspiring. This a shame as it is a beautifully maintained building with spacious and well maintained rooms in a lovely garden setting. It may be preferable if they offered it on room only choice.

Fabulous place full of history. Loved the fact we could make our own breakfast and sit in the garden. Near to all amenities too. The people were friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend for a stay.
