SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Roanoke Rapids I 95

My family was without lights due to a severe thunderstorm. When we arrived, management allowed us to check in early. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

1 night I had a toilet that had a very high pitch .squeel the whole time, shutting the door did not help. There was a bug crawling on the ceiling that I had to kill before going to bed. There were webs/hair with tiny things crawling on the web on the light fixture next to the bed. Lastly, there were yellow stains on the sheets. Glad it was1 night stay. (I have pics, but unable to upload)

Room was dirty with bugs crawling everywhere . No one at desk this morning to retune keys

BEDBUG INFESTATION! DO NOT STAY HERE!! The cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel is very deceiving. So many issues at this hotel!! After checking in late Friday around midnight we woke up to find the hot water no longer worked and were moved to another room which had BEDBUGS! As the staff came to observe one of the Maintenance workers made a call on his cellphone (I assume to the manager who hadn’t come down from his live in room yet) and loudly stated “YEP WE GOT EM IN ROOM 129 TOO!” You DO NOT want to stay here!! This hotel should be closed down - and after filing my report with the county’s health department I learned they’d received 3 other complaints from different room with BEDBUGS!! This place knowingly rented out room with an obvious infestation and proceeded to check families in AFTER discovering them in our room as we watched new check ins walk by our room! Had I not announced this to those newly arrived check ins they too may have had the same disgusting experience! Management has clearly changed in recent years and this place is a complete health hazard! There aren’t enough characters allowed for me to go into all the other details. Simply put shut this place DOWN!!

Place was clean, however everything felt old. Shaky pipes, door, creaky mattress but comfortable. Breakfaat had basic options.

No hot water . Sheets were not clean. They had dirty marks. Bedroom floor was not clean . Toilet was flushing all over the place.
