Excellent attention, comfort, the Jefferson cabin is very cozy, every detail spectacular and above all very clean thank you

We will definitely be back, the at home feel with great people, Shannon and David are great hosts. And their food is delicious, I could've eaten untill I passed out.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Mountain Harbour B & B! The hosts were very kind and friendly making us feel right at home. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was delicious and bountiful!

The hospitality was amazing; super friendly, helpful and welcoming to a new guest! I chose to stay in the Treehouse (no power... glorified camping! :-)) and it was a GREAT stay! Was just passing through for early day in Boone to see my daughter, so was a different kind of "thru traveller" but I will definitely be back to camp, hike and also will return for any early visits to Boone, NC! (I live 3 plus hours away, so that's LONG for a day trip to Boone, but having this hostel as a nearby, clean, affordable location is a GREAT discovery!!

MH had a full service shuttle to get trail heads. Breakfast is superb!

Best breakfast ever!!! From the owners to their staff (family) they were great and very friendly. Thank you for your help and kindness. They were there for us for shuttling along with Doug! Any questions about the AT trail and they’ll help you out!

We were impressed with all the amenities this home had. Even spices and toiletries! It had comfortable bedding and plenty of extra pillows. Definitely all wheel drive needed for driveway. Very peaceful place and well maintained. No bugs was a plus!

We booked the Jefferson Room several weeks in advance for a short overnight anniversary trip. We arrived July 3rd about 2:30 and checked in. Fast and easy. The room is huge and well appointed. Everything was very clean and the room is nice and cool with its own mini split air conditioner. Bathroom has a big jetted tub, nice sized shower and toilet in one big room. The vanity is outside the main bath. Lots of nice fluffy towels, shampoos, soaps, lotions. The vanity is pretty low but not a big problem. Large flat screen tv with lots of choices. I enjoyed reading from the book collection. There was coffee and snacks available in the afternoon and evening. We enjoyed supper from the food truck. Burgers were fantastic. Everyone is so friendly that works there. Breakfast was fabulous. So much good food with so many delicious dishes. Lots of coffee, juice, water, tea. Lots of hikers that stayed in the hostel came to also enjoy the breakfast feast. We highly recommend this B & B and will return in the fall for a stay. (My only complaint is that one of the green rockers on the porch has a loose slat that needs minor repair. I tore my favorite capris on it! 😭)

Very clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and courteous and very helpful for folks not from around the area. Great location for good eating and a plethora of activities.
