We visited Trikala Korinthias and stayed at Diochri Guesthouse during our wedding anniversary on May 2022 for a 5 day short escape. Having had almost two years to travel due to Covid-19 restrictions we anticipated something special. And indeed it proved to be. Although Trikala Korinthias is a mostly winter destination up on the mountain is closer to ski slopes than beaches, it is also a great summer vacation location if you prefer mountain rather than sea. Diochri Guesthouse proved to be easy to find, with excellent view, peaceful, quiet, very clean and with a great english spoken polite service. It has free parking space, breakfast in the room, Wi-Fi, a room kitchenette and a fully equipped bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, warm with clean sheets, duvet and pillows. There was a fireplace in the room too for use during the winter. We would gladly stay at Diochri Guesthouse again without a second thought whether that would be during the summer or the winter.
