We stayed at the Boarders Inn in Ripon while visiting friends in Green Lake over the weekend of 8/16-8/17/25. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Boarders Inn and were even more pleased than we were with last year’s stay. The Boarders Inn is not fancy or ornate, but it is clean, comfortable, reasonably (certainly by Green Lake standards) priced, and staffed by helpful, efficient, and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding…all that we wanted and more and certainly providing anything all but the pickiest of breakfast connoisseurs would want. If you are looking for a complete vacation experience, Boarders is not your place; you’d be better off staying at a resort like the Heidel House in Green Lake...at twice or three times the price. However, if you are looking for a place to stay while in town visiting friends or simply enjoying the many attractions of the Green Lake/Ripon area, you’d be foolish to pay the prices demanded, and received, by the resorts, VRBOs, bed and breakfasts, and the like with which the area is so generously populated. Save your money for other thing and enjoy a clean, comfortable room, along with a very good breakfast, at Boarders Inn. We’ll be back next year; maybe we will see you at breakfast.

It was a nice stay with very friendly service. We appreciate the low cost fee added on for our pet to stay with us. Breakfast was good

The staff and the owners were very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the free breakfast and the room was very clean. We would definitely recommend and stay with them again……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

The staff is really great here. Rooms are clean, some a little dated, but new carpet and paint. New owners making investments. Hot tub should be available again soon...waiting on license to allow guest use. We have a group of friends that we stay here with every year, and always come back.

The hottub was broke which was disappointing. The toilet plugged easily and the TV wasn't working and a new tv was provided but my husband had to carry it to the room and switch it out not hotel staff. Blankets are very thin on the beds. The pool area was very dark as there were no lights on and it's a very stark room with only 2 tables that could seat 4 people and one was very wobbly. Only one plug in near the desk and there were already five things plugged into that one plug in so not convenient to have a desk where you cannot plug in your computer. Breakfast was good and hotel staff came quickly to try to fix the toilet. Hotel staff was nice about switching out towels for us as we stayed multiple days. It was a OK stay but not sure we'd chose to stay again.

The service was exceptional! Very warm, friendly, and caring! ! My room was very clean and comfortable... Even the pillows which is a rarely! The breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious! Great selection! My new go to hotel in Ripon! Thank you!
