Mala organización de la cocina, aunque la carta sea amplia, demoraron bastante tiempo en decir que no tenían chivo, después de un rato de tomar la comanda, con lo que la espera con las nuevas peticiones fue de una hora para comer, estaba reservado desde el día anterior, uno de los camareros eficiente, pero el no tenía la solución

I stayed for five nights on business. I had a 'junior suite', a large room facing the front of the hotel with a balcony. The room was comfortable, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, a big desk, and a comfortable chair. Good hot water in shower. A lovely view off the deck. There were two problems. The biggest was weak and intermittent internet - It was not dependable, and most of the time I had to rely on using my iPhone 'hotspot' as my internet connection. There is reliable internet elsewhere (universities, government offices, etc). This was a major problem for me. This might not be a problem for tourists. The hotel needs to invest in a better system and better routers. They charge three times more than other hotels, and can afford to do this. The routers are ancient and insufficient. They also need to invest in sound proof windows and glass. Once again, for the price they charge, they owe it to their customers. This is reputedly the best hotel in the city. Keep in mind Riohacha is the second poorest city in the country, and must be judged in that context. Tipping the staff really helps.
