馬拉加住宿之家(At Home in Malaga Stay & Solo Travellers)

Marcela’s house is absolutely lovely! We stayed in room #1 which opened right to a beautiful covered patio furnished with sofa/chairs/table and direct access to the backyard. Though it was too cold for the pool to be swimmable, sitting on the lounge chairs in the sunshine was wonderfully relaxing. Marcela was very responsive by email when we were making our arrangements and so friendly and helpful while were there. She built a fire for us one night while we were hanging out in the living room and very kindly stored some food/wine for us as we had a non-consecutive 2 night stay. Parking on the street was very easy, though I suspect a bit more difficult in the warmer months. The provided breakfast included a nice variety of food to start our days. Marcela is a wonderful hostess and we heartily recommend At Home in Malaga Stay to anyone looking for the comforts of home!

Marcela, die de B&B leidt, is heel vriendelijk en doet haar uiterste best opdat je het naar je zin zou hebben. Ze is er en ze is er niet, ik bedoel ... als je ze nodig hebt, is ze er. Ze vraagt of je het op prijs stelt om elke dag verse lakens te hebben, of verse handdoeken wilt. Ze probeert elke dag een ander ontbijt te serveren, zodat er beetje variatie in zit. De B&B zelf ligt op wandelafstand van het strand. Ook winkel, restaurants en bushalte op wandelafstand. Ligt in een heel rustige straat. Met de bus kan je voor 1,7 eur naar Malaga en van Malaga voor 1,7 eur naar Benalmadena. Wij gingen te voet naar Malaga (13 km) en kwamen met de bus terug. Wil je wandelen, niet teveel toeristen en vooral heel goedkoop eten en drinken ? Place to be, Rincon De La Victoria en omstreken. 1,7 eur voor pintje of kop koffie aan een strandbar. Aan de dijk overal kiosken waar je een grote fles water voor 1 euro kan kopen, ideaal voor als je lange wandelingen maakt. Een fantastische salade mixte kost 7 euro ongeveer, fles wijn op restaurant met zeezicht 12 euro. Niet le grand chique, maar puur genieten van het uitzicht, het geluid van de golven, de rust.

Perfect stay! Hosts were very kind and helpful, and also provided advice on travel to Malaga and local area! Property is very homely with many common areas and onsite amenities were great! Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

Excellent host and very well maintained property. Easy to get to Malaga by car or bus.

Honestly the most kind hearted and caring hosts I’ve ever met, nothing was too much trouble, the house is beautiful and relaxing can’t say enough nice things about it.
