里士滿樹木園凱悅嘉軒飯店(Hyatt Place Richmond Arboretum)

We arrived early (10:30ish) for a speaking engagement and were not offered the courtesy of possibly checking in early. After asking to check-in and being told there were no rooms available our group was simply standing to regroup and was asked in a snarky tone if we could move to another area so the dirty area could be cleaned Additionally, I have not received my receipt via email. Please send for my records. Thank you.

Very nice hotel room. Very spacious lobby area for breakfast. Did not like having to pay $8 for parking, which actually ended up being $9 (advertised for $8) and that you could only pay using a barcode and credit/debit card online.

In town for a swim meet. Hotel was convenient to both Aquatic Center and restaurants ect. Had reserved a double double weeks in advance. Ok check in, opened room door, it was King. Back to front desk: At first some other employee in lobby felt the need to quip “There’s a pull out sofa bed” ::death glare:: No. Front desk associate says “We’re all sold out of Double Doubles, except one on the first floor” Took it. It was fine. A lot of ambient noise from hallway, but it worked. It was clean and the bed was super comfy. Also in first world problems…breakfast doesn't start until 7:00am on weekends. So note that if your in town for a swim meet, whose warm-ups usually start early. As noted by others, you have to pay for parking in “day” intervals. So you likely end up overpaying. Would likely stay again.

O hotel é ótimo, quartos grandes e confortáveis, em uma área muito arborizada, acesso próximo a restautantes. Unico problema foi o checkin. Ao chegar haviam 2 pessoas sendo atendidas e ficamos na fila esperando respeitosamente a nossa vez. Chegou outra pessoa que perguntou se estávamos na fila e dissemos que sim. Ele se colocou mais ao fundo atrás de nós. De repente a atendente simplesmente nos ignorou e chamou o moço que havia chegado depois e fez o checkin dele. Aguardamos bastante indignados e depois perguntamos o que havia ocorrido e ele disse que simplesmente a atendente o havia chamado e ele foi. Quando eu disse a ela que devia considerar o Respeito pois estávamos ali há mais tempo e na fila, ela deu de ombros e perguntou: "Respeito por que? Quem é você?" Confesso que só mantivemos nossa estadia pois já estava paga. Mas realmente não esperávamos em um Hyatt encontrar um atendimento com tamanho desrespeito e desprezo ao hóspede!!!!

The air conditioning did not work in the room. I spoke to 3 different front desk clerks and they said that they’d call maintenance. Friday night no one answered so she said I’d have to wait until morning. The next morning I spoke to someone else and Saturday night someone different. I never heard anything from any of them again. There was no communication whatsoever. At least the front desk clerk on Saturday came up to see if she could do anything. I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times and never had to pay for parking. This time there was a daily charge. This hotel isn’t in an area where other people besides those staying at the hotel would park. There is no lack of space. The hotel is basically in an industrial park with plenty of open space. I highly doubt I’ll be staying here again

The front desk personnel were kind, attentive, and check in was a breeze. outside grounds are well maintained, though I do agree with other reviews that the carpets in this location are due for an upgrade. With the traffic hotels see though, it’s a negligible offense. Breakfast in the morning was top notch. I was incredibly pleased with the availability of oat milk among the beverage choices – this is the first hotel I’ve seen with it! The coffee is delicious, the fruit is fresh, and the buffet is well maintained. The room was well kept, and smelled wonderful. The A/C blew cold, the shower poured hot, and the mini coffee maker worked well. Plus the fridge worked! Too often we have been in rooms where the fridge didn’t work. The beds are firm, the pillows feel like clouds, and the couch is acceptable. The couch DOES pull out, but it hadn’t been cleaned. There was a half empty wallet underneath, as well as dirt and crumbs underneath the cushions as soon as you lifted them off. The cover on top of the mattress that protects it from rips was covered in crumbs, dirt, and hair. Obviously it’s not been removed and washed. The shelf where the fridge was is dusty and has not been wiped down either. There also isn’t a microwave in the room! There is now an $8 a day parking fee as well. Next door’s hotel still offers free parking. The bathroom was also caked in dust in the corners, though the toilet and shower were clean. All in all, I would absolutely choose this hotel again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. You also offered a nice selection of breakfast items. However, I did not like the fact that I had to pay $8.00 a day for parking(I was charged for 3 days)while staying at your hotel, on your property. That alone will keep me from coming back after paying over $400 to stay there. I have rarely paid for parking with the exception of NYC!

Very disappointed with this hotel. Expected a Hyatt to be clean and in good condition which this property is not. We booked here because it advertised restaurant and bar in the hotel, which there is not. Interior is beat up. No remote for tv. Front desk staff very lethargic and unhelpful

Third time staying here. Not as impressed this visit. Front desk staff member wasn't helpful when I requested assistance w a malfunctioning tv remote or buying movie on tv. Also, requested two rooms close to e other. She told me it wasn't possible and said one room would be on 2nd floor while other was on 5th. When checked in few hours later, gentleman at front desk said it was very doable and gave us two rooms very close to e other, on same floor and 5 doors apart. One front desk person (female) just didn't seem interested in actually helping. The other (male) was friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us and provide great customer service. Might not stay here again when we return to Richmond. Might be time to try another brand.
