Candlewood Suites Richmond - West Broad

The service, room and amenities were fantastic. I attended a conference at the Westin only minutes away Much better value and great room! Highly recommend

Very cool a**osphere. Received a call from hotel staff attempting to convince me to stay elsewhere. They state hotel was overbooked. Upon my arrival the facility was empty after 3:30 pm rooms were not ready. The entire floor was still being cleaned. There were a number of persons standing around in the lobby waiting rooms to be cleaned

I was charged $50 extra dollars than what was stated online when I did the reservation. The smart apps on the tv don’t work because the tv is only connected to cable. The shower water pressure kept cutting in and out as well as the hot and cold shower water. Needless to say I won’t be staying here again.

Arrived at hotel 20 minutes before checkin. I was told I had to wait till 3pm because our room wasn’t ready. Waited in the lobby (directly in front of checkin) At 3:15 I approached the desk and was told 10 more minutes. At 3:30pm I went back to the counter. After questioning why that particular room, I was told they thought I requested a specific room and I that’s why I preferred to wait. Crazy because I’ve NEVER stayed there before. We were finally given another room. Got to the 4th floor, key didn’t work. Went back down came back up key still didn’t work. Finally someone came up just to try the keys we had which of course didn’t work then he let us in with his key then he went down to get us new key cards which I didn’t understand why the lady didn’t give us new ones after the second time. Finally got in the room neither phone worked. Then was woken up by a car continually playing loud music. HORRIBLE stay!

Have stayed here once before and was happy with the hotel but this time the hotel room cleanliness was lacking and in general seems to have gone downhill. The convenience of the kitchenette is a plus but will likely not stay again.

Very friendly, warm environment. When we are traveling we will look for Candlewood Suites again!

Excellent stay option for a family of 4. The place is clean, safe and just perfect. I would highly recommend to stay in this Hotel even though it would be little long drive.

There is no toilet paper or facial tissues in the room, and the attendant at the desk has gone for the night it seems

My first time staying at a Candlewood hotel and I absolutely loved it . The front desk people were so nice and it was so clean just a really great hotel I will be coming back and staying. This is my hotel now when I come to Richmond
