Holiday Inn Express 里士滿 - 市中心(Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Downtown)

Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms.

The location is excellent for access to downtown, Brown's Island, etc. Rooms are clean and well kept. The price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel staff was very friendly but not particularly helpful. There was a problem with the shades in the room all being stuck in the fully down position. When I pointed this out to the hotel housekeeping staff, I was told that there was nothing that could be done & just push the shade to the side. This resulted in the room having a cave-like darkness. Not acceptable. There was also only one working elevator which was shared by the guests and hotel housekeeping staff which resulted in long waits at the elevator. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was told that the second elevator had been broken for over a week.

I love the friendliness of the staff. Holiday inn is always consistent no matter what city I visit. It was super close to where we were going. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. They had a great variety at breakfast and it was hot and fresh. I am only going to book from now on at Holiday inn. Love the customer service. They made me feel very special

Biggest complaint is my price was changed for the room , the website never states what the price is on your booking, only the reservation, so when you pay on site, you will be paying the current rate and not the rate you booked 3 months ago. Also parking has a very strict 6’ vehicle height and you will not be able to open your trunk in many spots of parking.

We checked in very late and when we got to the room,The door to our room would not close properly, it was off a hinge and needed to be lifted to close, the floor in the barhroom and entry were very sticky. Didnt seem like the carpet had been vacuumed either. Our room slept 4 people but there were not nearly enough towels and washclothes for us. We were so tired and called the front desk the following morning. The woman i spoke to was very nice but they werent able to compensate us monitarily sicne we booked through a 3rd party, like *******, unfortunately

I am very disappointed in the quality of this stay. I booked a standard room with a king bed but was given a room with 2 double. I also find it completely inappropriate that while staying at this hotel parking was not included. Being in a downtown city if im staying in a hotel obviously i need a place to park. I find that the quality of this stay for the amount of money i have spent was not met. I will not be staying at this hotel again, let alone holiday in express.

Again, I experienced another awesome stay at Holiday Inn Express (Carey St.) in Richmond, VA. The Front Desk personnel, Jason was welcoming and very helpful during and after Wednesday's check-in. 👍

Comfortable bed, quiet room, clean bathroom, clean room, good breakfast. Location is great, many downtown restaurants and bars are walkable, seems safe too.
