We have been HHonors for many years and have never had a problem, until now. We checked into Hampton Inn in Richland, Ms, reserved two rooms. When checking a man was stating that their room refrigerator was not cooling. She said she couldn’t do anything and offered to switch his room. He declined as they were already settled in. First room, refrigerator didn’t work, hair dryer did not work properly, phone would not call front desk, (she may have been extremely busy as she was the only worker),stool runs continuously ( until we manually stop it), bathroom sink had cracks all in it, ice machine on floor didn’t work so ice was on the 4th floor, windows were filthy. Second room, desk was broken and lying on the floor, no tv remote and door didn’t have a deadbolt. We asked for the room to be changed and we’re able to do so. The front desk was extremely busy with one person working, which I will say, she was doing an good job!!! However, when calls would come through she would just press a hold button and never answered. I have a feeling that’s why I could never reach the front desk. Breakfast was very good but, no one was cleaning the tables after people left, therefore, we did it. We were extremely disappointed with this stay. We expect more from Hilton/Hampton. Management needs to step it up!!
