Really neat place. Cozy and comfortable. Location wise very accessible. Lots of eateries nearby.

I would have been happy here. Clean and convenient ... although pretty much like all the other motels along Riccarton Rd. EXCEPT that I have just endured two nights of loud band music coming from a pub nearby. No sound proofing to filter it. A motel where I can't get to sleep because of location beside a music venue gets one star. Perhaps could endure it except no one likes classic rock played at loud volume ... no one!

Habitación amplia, funcional, limpia e impecable y con una cama muy cómoda. La pequeña cocina tiene todo lo necesario. El cuarto de baño no es tan amplio pero te mueves sin estrecheces. Muy buena señal de wifi. Buenas plazas de aparcamiento. Esta en una de las arterias principales de la ciudad aunque algo alejado del centro (poco más de treinta minutos andando, pero muy cerca del Botánico), pero con muchos servicios de restauración en las proximidades.

I stayed 2 nights in New Zealand with my friends. The location of this motel is perfect. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, about a 10-minute walk from the Riccarton shopping centre, and bus stops are nearby, including a bus stop to the airport. Next door is Hagley Park. The motel was clean and comfortable, and the service was good. The owner was very warm and friendly and showed us the surrounding places and recommended good restaurants. Will stay again, and has already recommended this motel to others.

I think the best thing about this place is the proximity to parks, shopping malls including a lot of restaurants. Since I didn't come by car, there is also a bus stop nearby with routes that include buses in many different directions, which made it much easier to get around. I'm glad I came in the spring, the flowers in the garden in front of the entrance were all in beautiful bloom and it was a pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the room was also good as well as the facilities and equipment.

Nicely refurbished room, with delightful Private balcony, 2nd floor, #12. Large spa bath, though sadly no time to enjoy it!! Excellent linen & towels; bed very very comfortable. Extremely clean, neat & tidy. Kitchenette, yea, coffee, minibar, but no cooking facilities. Eateries a plenty within walking distance. Great communication prior & during. Very helpful. Good location between city & airport. Quiet, set back from the road. Off street parking available, Highly recommend.

Very nice staff, friendly and helpful. The only negative - the room and bathroom were very cold when we arrived, all heating was off, incl heated towel rail. The bathroom was very clean but had an unusual smell - possibly from the spa bath. Overall a good stay. Thank you.

Used to stay here when i worked for Barkers of Geraldine. Nice place and convenient. My husband wasn't well and called an ambulance - not too far to the hospital. Cafes near by. Great location.

This property is in an ideal location within walking distance (About 20 minutes)of the CBD. It didn't have an oven, but it was well equipped otherwise and is the first motel we have ever stayed at with 3 TV's with Sky! The living area is very comfortable with a lovely patio with a fence with camelias growing against it. It also has a nice spa bath. The only minus was that the tap in the bathroom basin was very stiff and the other taps were very loose! The fridge had too many cans and bottles which had to be taken out to fit our own food. Over all though, a great place to stay.
