We enjoyed the Riad, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. We loved our jacuzzi found in the Marrakech Suite Royale room. The bed was nice and soft, didn’t hurt our backs at all. Could really had more naps 😁
We booked lunch at the Riad after a tour, the tagines were really nice. They don’t taste the same which was good. We’ve tried many mint teas, so far, I liked the riad’s mint tea the most! Keep the good quality up! 😊
The neighborhood where the Riad is, not as clean as the hotel, but the Riad is beautiful and had nice views, pool and is really serene.
We like walking. Walking during the day and night was good exercise after eating street foods from the square. The motorcycles are everywhere but after a day, we got used to it. Nice to see and stayed in a big soul where all the sights and smell come together. Night is very lively in Marrakech! Beautiful place especially at night.
Our stay at Riad Nafis was simply amazing. As soon as we got in, Yousseff (I hope I spelt this right), the owner, gave us some tea while we chilled on the great rooftop. He got us a map, marking every important point around Marrakesh and kindly explaining different things. The two other males working there are also super helpful and nice. They have a lady who you see cleaning almost all the time, so the place is in an impolite state, cleaning and naming your bed every day (along towels). They also printed our boarding passes for the airport with no extra cost. Overall, this is the place to stay! We will most likely be back :)
On another note, breakfast was simple but nice, we are not big eaters in the morning so we never really finished it all! It definitely makes you full. The location somehow central, about 15mins walk to all the important points (can be up to 20 considering that it's a busy city).
匿匿名用戶Beautiful Riad in a nice part of the medina, about twenty minutes walk from the main square Jeema el-Fnaa. At first one of our rooms was downstairs and this is a little close to the kitchen and feels less private than the rooms upstairs. The staff kindly arranged for us to swap the room on the second night. While the staff were very helpful, there was a bit of an issue with the taxi they booked for us when leaving to go to the airport. We’d paid in advance but the driver never showed up. After waiting about twenty minutes, we got another taxi and the hotel returned the money to us, so all was well, but we were a little stressed about making our flight as Marrakech airport takes a long time!
FFarahWe had the pleasure of staying at Riad Jibril during our visit to Marrakech, and what a delightful experience it was!
Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations.
The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too!
What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.
