千萬不要到這個酒店住，旁邊周圍全是酒吧，晚上根本睡不着覺，聲音超級大，大到降噪耳機都沒辦法，我去找前台，前台也説沒辦法，真的不要住，房間還特別小！

Posizione perfetta per visitare la città e allo stesso tempo lontano dalla movida che può essere inaspettatamente molto rumorosa in certe vie. Camere ampie con grandi vetrate, bollitore in camera, curato nei dettagli. Reception molto disponibile anche per la sveglia in caso di aurora.

Minha segunda estadia neste hotel em cinco anos. Hotel muito bem localizado no centro da cidade. Nas proximidades, há vários restaurantes, mercados de conveniência, lojas de souvenirs, passeios de barco, transporte público para aeroporto e demais áreas da cidade.

Stunning hotel in a perfect location, rooms are tastefully decorated with a huge fridge,coffee machine and flat screen tv. We were in room 403 situated at the rear of the hotel and our first nights stay was on na Saturday, the friendly staff that checked us in gave us a heads up that there may be some noise due to the bars next to and across from the hotel and also provided ear plugs and sleep mask, we needed neither and had a perfect nights sleep on each of the four nights. All the staff were polite and super friendly making our stay so enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.

My two-night stay at the Hotel City Center were the worst two nights I have ever spent in a hotel room. My room is on the second floor on the street side. I have stayed in downtown Reykjavik before and it was pleasant. It is unbelievably noisy here. The music from the bars is so loud it is impossible to sleep. It is 0400 now and the sound level is insane. How can anyone get rest here? How can I drive a car safely or enjoy my vacation with no sleep? This is a completely unacceptable situation for a hotel guest. A sad ending to my otherwise wonderful three-week European vacation. Avoid this place if you expect to sleep.

I can’t think of any reason I wouldn’t book this hotel again. It’s a hotel that doesn’t feel corporate at all, the staff couldn’t be more helpful, our room was spacious and comfortable, the location is spot on, and loads of restaurants and bars close by.

The City Center Hotel is truly a fabulous place to stay. I had come across this hotel online and had great reviews. I decided to book my stay after being on a cruise for 11 days. The location is fantastic in the middle of City Center, and so close to all the restaurants and main attractions. The hotel is super clean, and the rooms are spacious and have all the conviences, including coffee machine and amenities. Last but not least, the staff is truly amazing, friendly and ready to provide assistance, support and recommendations about places to see and where to eat. They helped me make reservations to some excursions and went out ofvtheir way to be helpful. The friendly and positive attitude was very apparent from the minute we checked in. In fact, they checked us in at 10 am instead of 2 pm because the room was ready. Amazing all around, and we intend to come back. A VERY Special THANKS TO Mel. In addition, a special thank you to Gisli. Great Experience.

Hotel is located in a great location. It's near multiple bars and restaurants . It's also located by multiple bus stops for tour pickups. The people employed there are very helpful. My hiking boots got drenched on one of my tours, and they let me bring a heating boot dryer to my room so I can dry my only set of boots. Very thankful for their help. Rooms were clean and maintained

The hotel is two long blocks from the airport bus stop, because the street doesn't allow large transport vehicles. The picture on the site is misleading, and I had to roll a large bag and carry 2 carry-ons in the rain, not knowing where I was going. Passersby didn't know and I headed for a large hotel at the end of the streets with the word Center on it. It wasn't correct. They didn't know where City Center was, so I backtracked, asking and finally found it. Walked past it actually because it had no overhanging signs. Checked in with friendly Sonny but found room small and insufficient. Was there for a week and couldn't unpack, due to absence of drawer space. Just a hanger for coats. Also, no phone in room. Was told this was Iceland tradition. Really? Had to go down every time a problem. Sonny gave me upgraded room, but no furniture. Otherwise, the staff, Sonny, Gisli and Melissa were kind and helpful, and the location was right in the heart of the tourist area, with many restaurants and shops. But the lack of drawer space, no phone and a tiny amount of TV channels made it somewhat uncomfortable.
