We always stay in Marriott properties but this was our first time at the Springhill Rexburg. The staff were friendly and polite, but when we got to our room it reeked of wet and musty carpets. We found out they were wet, the fans didn’t work and the window had no screens. When we asked the desk for help we were told they were completely booked and we would get used to the smell. We tried to open the window despite no screens, the blinds were broken so it wouldn’t work, and the garbage can in our “new” room was full of garbage so we couldn’t pro open with that. After 3 trips to the desk, they finally found another room and moved us. It still smelled badly, but it was so late by then we opened the window and put the kids to bed. Still no screens on the windows. I know things happen, but for the price this shouldn’t be a Marriott/Springhill but more along a Super 8. We won’t be returning.
