The hotel in general was clean, but I only received housekeeping service once in eight nights (on my last day, the day before check out). Throughout my stay, I asked at least three separate times to have my room cleaned. Once they made the bed only and left the pile of dirty towels where I left them on the bathroom floor, next to the shower to indicate that they were soiled. The second time they didn’t come at all. The third time I got clean towels delivered to my door after 6:00pm, but nothing else. Then, on the last full day of my stay, the day before I checked out they cleaned my room, changed the sheets and gave me fresh towels. All unnecessary at that point.
I understand that during COVID hotels want to reduce contact between guests and staff. But you would think with an eight-night stay that it would have occurred to someone to clean my room at least twice, and certainly when I physically went to the front desk and requested it.
I’d say overall this hotel is run down. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and I will not stay here again.
