Nous avons passé 4 nuits en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants) dans un appartement (grand !) de 3 chambres dans cet Agriturismo qui produite essentiellement de l'huile d'olives et du vin. L'endroit est très joli, isolé dans la campagne près de Regello, c'est un hâvre de paix. Nous y retournerions volontiers. Personnel (propriétaire) très sympathique. Très chouette piscine, il ne manque qu'un resto sur place (bien qu'il y en ai assez dans les environs et à des prix tout à fait raisonnables) pour encore améliorer l'endroit ;-)

As soon as we arrived at Il Bonsi near Regello Italy, we knew that we were in for an incredible and memorable adventure. Our daughter had chosen the location for her wedding venue based on its beauty and history but also because of the host’s responsiveness and professionalism. We were no less impressed as we met Giacomo and all the wonderful staff we dealt with. We hosted her wedding with about 85 people. The venue is a fortified farmhouse (castle) on acres of natural land that includes olive trees. We especially liked that they provide six apartments which we used for the wedding party and guests. These apartments were multi-room and had kitchens. In addition the grounds were lovely to walk around and boasted a large pool. They provided a delicious breakfast each morning also. The site for the welcome party that was held on Friday evening had the most incredible Tuscan sun setting. The reception and pizza dinner were cozy and allowed everyone to get to know each other before the big day. The venue partners with a nearby hotel that the rest of the guests were able to stay at, and we also arranged for a shuttle to bring these guests to and from the venue. This worked out extremely well. For the wedding day, there was plenty of space for everyone to get dressed and ready. The ceremony was amidst the olive trees with chairs in the grass. We had gorgeous Tuscan weather. The ceremony was beautiful but then we were ushered to the 19th century garden for a happy hour event before the dinner reception. Beautiful rock fixtures, a couple of peacocks and the open air areas around the castle lent to a magnificent visual and very calming experience. We had planned to have the reception among the trees but because the weather that evening was uncertain we ended up having three long tables under lights next to the castle. It was so stunning and surreal. The staff at the castle and the catering staff we hired were absolutely amazing and provided exactly the type of destination wedding experience you would imagine. We were so thrilled at how everything transpired. After the reception, we had dancing in the wine cellar of the castle which was also a fun and entertaining event with lots of guests having a wonderful time until very late. There were so many opportunities for unique photography and we were not disappointed in the innumerable backdrops this place provides. I would highly recommend this location if you are considering a destination wedding or other event. It is only 45 minutes by train or car from Florence Italy. You will not be disappointed!
