我們住在最頂層的房間。它有一個嵌在傾斜屋頂上的窗戶。我身高 6 英尺 3 英寸，從那裡幾乎可以看到海景。我的妻子身高只有五英尺零，所以我不抱任何希望。那扇窗戶需要清潔，因為它是房間裡唯一的自然光源。房間裡的燈壞了。房間裡的一些家具也已經過時了，而且我和女兒都覺得床還不錯，但我的妻子卻覺得床不舒服。淋浴還可以，但整個房間需要翻新。我在這裡看到的其他房間的照片看起來要好得多，所以也許我們只是運氣不好。旅遊顧問還說這家酒店有免費停車場，但事實並非如此，你必須把車停在距離酒店約 500 公尺的馬路對面，24 小時停車費為 5 英鎊。我不太放心把車停在那裡過夜，因為那裡很開放而且不太安全。他們也不提供早餐。一位年輕女孩熱情地接待了我們，她向我們解釋了一切。除此之外，我們在那裡住的兩天都在外面，沒有見到其他工作人員。一分錢​​一分貨，對於我們支付的費用來說，這是可以接受的。但僅此而已，只需一些簡單的修飾就可以輕鬆改進。

僅入住一間房，住了 3 晚。 Irene 和 Ray 真的很棒。在我們入住之前，Irene 與我們進行了非常順暢的溝通，而 Ray 在我們抵達時也讓我們感到賓至如歸。漂亮、乾淨的套房，可俯瞰大海。 絕對會推薦。

I stayed at the Lakeside on Tuesday this week with my sister . A very warm welcome from Ray ,friendly and nothing was to much trouble . The rooms are spacious and very clean the view of the boating lake and the sea from the room was glorious . After spending the day in Redcar we came back to my room where my sister Ray and i made a cuppa pulled up the chairs to the terraced window and enjoyed the view. Ray and his sister gave us directions and recommended the Lobster a local pub five minutes away ,very warm and friendly. I cant rate this lovely guest house or the owner high enough ,ten out of ten and higher ,Ray even took us to the station the following morning . If you haven't discovered this lovely guest house give yourselves a treat . thanks from Christine and Ray
