Our one night stay at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Red Deer was excellent. The staff were polite, kind, and very accommodating and when we were faced with the dilemma on how we were going to be able to get to our bus to head home back to Calgary the owner offered to take us to the bus station. That subsequently saved our butts as we are now back safe and sound in Calgary. We appreciated that so much. As for the remainder of my review, the property was clean and the room was well kept and the price was affordable. We will definitely book another room here should we return to Red Deer again in the future, thank you for the wonderful stay.

Just needed a bed to sleep in. Check in was good, the night auditor was nice. Room was fine for the price. However the room was super hot upon arrival. Turned on the AC and went to sleep. Awoke two hours later sweating. So hot. Checked the AC and it seemed to be working but the room wasn’t cooling down. Window would not open. Opened the room door to try to cool room but couldn’t go to sleep with it open. So it was a long night. I could have asked to change rooms but it was late and I was tired. When I checked out the GSA was nice but didn’t ask me how my stay was so I didn’t mention it.
