Wir sind aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen auch mit sehr hohen Erwartungen angereist ... die wurden leider nicht ganz erfüllt. Das Zimmer lag über der Küche und obwohl die Fenster geschlossen waren, konnten man die Speisekarte "erschnuppern". Ansonsten ein wirklich ordentliches Hotel ... die extrem guten Bewertungen können wir aber nicht zu 100% unterschreiben ... da hatten wir auf der Rundreise bessere Hotels besuchen dürfen.

The welcome, the experience, the Irish welcome when it is really genuine , We loved our visit and we look forward to our return in the Autumn. The beauty of Lough Inagh and Derryclare Lake are incomparible, even in Connemara. Ideally situated near Clifden and Kylemore,a perfect place to stay

Lough Inagh Lodge is a wonderful old lodge filled with charm and fabulous staff. The staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were spacious and comfy and the bathroom and dressing room were well appointed. The common areas are so charming and inviting...wish we could have stayed longer! We dined in the main dining room one night and in the tavern another night and LOVED the food and atmosphere. We also booked our room with a breakfast each morning and they had a lovely selection to chose from and all were delicious. The location is all by itself in Connemara park and beautifully located across the street from the lake. We just loved the secluded location. It is really peaceful and relaxing. It was a short drive to Kylemore Abbey and about 1 hour from Galway.

From the welcome on arrival to waving us off on departure this is a very special place to stay. The location is stunning on the lake with lots of hill walking all around . We spent two nights here in May in the beautiful weather which was a bonus . Food was really really good . Lovely reception rooms with a fire at night and Thomas the bar man was full of information and friendly chat . Most of the other guests were returning visitors some have been coming over twenty years . Really nice atmosphere-would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful people, atmosphere and service Visited with extended family for our Dad’s 80th, 10 adults and 6 kids. Were treated like royalty from the moment we landed Saturday afternoon until we left Sunday lunchtime. Delicious food and kind and thoughtful service from beginning to end. Thank you to Maire, Dominic and the rest of the family and staff, would recommend for any occasion. Fabulous experience .

Without beating about the bush just go. Amazing place to relax with friends and family. Maura and co are fantastic hosts you will be made feel incredibly welcome. Food is out of this world and all the staff go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. 10/10
