Accueil déplorable. Chambres assez sommaires et salle de bain dans un triste état. Néanmoins, le repas fut excellent. Climatisation OK. Panne d’électricité en prime durant une heure. Wifi poussive pour ne pas dire déficiente. Bref, vu l’offre hôtelière du secteur, cependant, il ne faut pas se plaindre surtout pour visiter le parc national tout à coté .

We a party of 2 adults & 2 kids stayed at Birds Paradise for 2 nights in early April 2023. The best thing about this place is the amount of wildlife you can experience from the hotel premises itself. Specially birds including endemics. Mr. Nimal the owner was very cooperative from the beginning and went out of the to provide for our needs. He also has a vast knowledge about the flora & fauna of the area. They provide Sri Lankan meals specially for lunch & dinner but did few changes for us to suite kids preferences. The room was a big one with limited facilities and a spacious balcony. There was no TV in the room and mobile phone signals were weak. But you don't need them when you are emersed in nature. Stream down by the hotel is beautiful and secluded. Watch out for the leeches in the foot path. Later heard that they provide facilities for kayaking. Would love to return there for the same experience + kayaking.
