Hôtel incroyable : confortable, en pleine nature entre rivière et rizières. Personnel chaleureux et bienveillant. Piscine naturelle, yoga pour qui veut ou promenades… nous y sommes restés deux nuits mais aurions pu y passer plus de temps, Restaurant délicieux et massage vraiment top. Un vrai coup de cœur.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Glenrock à côté de Belihuloya au Skri Lanka. L’hôtel est un exemple d’architecture mélangeant des matériaux modernes et bois rustique. L’accueil est excellent et le cadre est bucolique au bord d’un torrent dans une forêt tropicale au bord des rizières. Le cuisine est excellente: nous avons apprécié le meilleur lamprais du pays ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié en outre Thusi, le serveur du restaurant qui sait rester à l’écoute des clients en mélangeant gentillesse, professionnalisme et compétences.

18th Dec 2018...Me and my wife spent our honeymoon at "Glenrock" & it was the best two days of our life. We really loved the amazing surroundings of "Glenrock", mountains and surreal views.The food was amazing! Many varieties and they were all delicious... (my mouth still waters :) ). In addition I must specially mention the wonderful staff. I have visited many hotels around the island but I never came across a committed and a friendly staff like at "Glenrock". Prasanna, Pradeep and many other staff members whom I sadly cannot recall the names including two chefs, who are valuable assets of 'Glenrock' . All this lead to the decision, that to visit "Glenrock" every year on our anniversary. Thank you "Glenrock" for making our Honeymoon memorable and unforgettable!!

My and my Fiance stayed over at The Glenrock over the weekend and what a wonderful visit it was. Great Views, Comfortable rooms and a pleasant staff made the stay even more wonderful. Highly recommend this great location to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Glenrock is truly a gem nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes. During our stay at the end of March 2024, we were captivated by the mesmerizing views of mountains and paddy fields, creating a picturesque setting that felt straight out of a postcard. The gentle flow of the Balihuloya stream added a serene soundtrack to our stay, enhancing the tranquil ambiance. We opted for the family villa cabana C4, and it exceeded our expectations. The panoramic view of the mountains and river from our cabana was simply spectacular. The private river access was a delightful bonus, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature at our leisure. The service at Glenrock was commendable, with special thanks to Lahiru for his attentive and courteous assistance throughout our stay. However, it was disappointing that the hotel did not mention the credit card offer during the booking process, missing an opportunity for guests to avail themselves of potential benefits. But after contacting many people they finally sorted it out. While our overall experience was positive, we did encounter a few issues. There was a noticeable odor, reminiscent of a decomposing rodent, within our room, which detracted from our comfort. Additionally, upon arrival, we found the bath tab only half-filled and noticed insects in the water, raising hygiene concerns. Although explanations were provided upon inquiry, it left us feeling uneasy. On a brighter note, the Sri Lankan cuisine served at Glenrock was a culinary delight. From the flavorful pol roti to the delectable pancakes, each dish was a delightful exploration of local flavors, leaving our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. In conclusion, despite encountering some minor setbacks, our stay at Glenrock was a memorable retreat into nature's embrace. The stunning surroundings, coupled with warm hospitality and delicious cuisine, made for an unforgettable experience. We would certainly consider returning to this idyllic heaven in the future.

An eco friendly hidden place in Belihuloya. Best place to stay and have some quality time with family and friends while enjoying the wonder of nature. The location is right next to the Belihul Oya and the staff will guide you to the Pahanthudawa waterfall as well. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a stay that brings you inner peace. Thanks Dilrangi
