We stayed at the Tree House Chalet in Belihuloya for our second honeymoon, looking forward to a unique and memorable experience. Overall, the food was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, which made us feel welcome. However, despite opting for the more expensive chalet to enhance our experience, there were several issues that unfortunately detracted from our stay. Firstly, the chalet didn’t have air conditioning, which made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably, especially in the warm weather. Additionally, we had expected a tantra bed as advertised, but this was not available in the chalet. We also faced issues with the hot water system, which didn’t work properly, so we couldn’t use the tub as we had planned. One of the most concerning problems was with the door key – it couldn’t be removed from the outside of the door, which left my wife feeling uneasy and worried about security. Considering the price we paid for this experience, we didn’t feel it was worth it given the lack of amenities and some discomforts. I believe there’s room for improvement, especially for those paying a premium for a “better” experience.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt im Treehouse Chalet. Zum einen ist Lage mitten im Dschungel sehr schön und zum anderen sind die Wohnungen sehr hübsch. Man kann vom Bett aus die Aussicht genießen. Das Team vom Treehouse Chalet ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Kinder haben es bei ihnen geliebt. Danke an das ganze Team. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Auch der Ausflug zu den Einheimischen können wir sehr empfehlen.
