La chambre que nous avons eue ne ressemblait pas du tout aux photos sur le site. Nous étions dans une chambre miteuse où il n'y avait que deux lits de camp, une salle de bain à faire peur et le wifi qui ne fonctionnait pas. Après 20 minutes dans la chambre, nous avons décidé de quitter le motel. Pour le prix, je m'attendais à quelque chose de mieux. Si vous n'êtes pas difficile et regardant, cela pourrait aller j'imagine. Il y a une belle vue sur les montagnes et une piscine.

We stayed one night on our way from Ottawa to Portland, ME, with our family of 6 (2 adults, and kids ages 4, 6, 9, 11). We stayed in the little cabin by the office and it was basic but suited us. We were looking for something basic and comfortable, and that was what we got. The kids ended up sleeping all in the bunk bed (with big bed on the bottom) and parents had the queen bed. It was really nice to have a kitchenette and to be able to make our own dinner. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into the place - our room was clean and well looked after. Our kids LOVED the pool and the tire swing. At bedtime, our daughter said, "you know those days when you can't stop smiling? That's today." The pool was just the right depth - our older kids were comfortable in the deep end, and the little ones could touch in the shallow end (about 3' deep). The owner gave us some recommendations about what to see in the area. A simple breakfast was included (cold cereal, granola bars, juice boxes, coffee), which we didn't know about and so was a nice surprise. There were some other amenities that we didn't get to use, like the outdoor firepits, but looked like they would be a lot of fun.

Arrived after a three hour drive to find a beautiful view, friendly staff and an upgrade to cabin #29 located next to the office, across from the pool and with our own fire pit. The motel has an old school vibe, throwback vibe that made me nostalgic. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed plus a kitchenette which includes a stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. The second room contains the queen bed, a bunk with a double on the bottom and twin in the top. The queen is the more comfortable of all the bed options. There is a pullout couch in the first room. The bathroom had the usual shower, toilet and sink with a couple shelves for storing your personal items. The cell service for Verizon and T-Mobile wasn’t working in the property, but the WiFi was great. This was expected as the location is adjacent to the Presidential Range. To use the TV find the Spectrum app on the list and stream channels. I also was able to use Apple Play to stream from my phone. The motel has a central outdoor (non-heated) pool, a play area for kids, a fire pit and grills. We used the AC the first night and could have used the heat the second, it’s New Hampshire so bring layers no matter the season. I think the Mt Jefferson View is a great place to come with extended family, a group of friends, or with kids. They offer a limited breakfast daily but we didn’t try it as we had other plans each day. The motel was also very quiet and despite it being motorcycle week in NH, we didn’t hear traffic/engine noise between 9pm and 8am. They have firewood on site, there are chairs in the pool area and outside the office, but next time I will bring comfortable chairs for lounging outside the cabin. We met the owner at checkout and again, we were impressed with his hospitality.

The Mt. Jefferson View Motel and Cabins is a nicely-renovated gem nestled among the Presidential Range at the midway point on the Presidential Rail Trail. An easy 10 min drive into the town of Gorham takes you to several restaurants and stores. The grounds of the motel are well-maintained, while still retaining the homey 1950's vibe. Families, hikers, and bikers will start to relax and unwind immediately upon check-in. We stayed in cabin #27: clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities included. If there is anything lacking, guests can easily request items at the front office. The owner, Dewald, is attentive and flexible; he goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcome and have a great stay. Baie dankie!

the most hospitable place on our 9 day dirtbike camping trip. a very fun family oriented place. even though it was pooring down the night my friend and i stopped in, we still had an amazing time hanging out with the other families playing dominos and board games in the office lounge area. the owner and receptionist are awesome!

If you are looking for a clean hotel for one night this works fine. The hotel itself is slightly dated, but has an eclectic feel to the place. They are very small cabins with cot type beds in each room. We had a two double bed room and there is no box spring which made the bed very uncomfortable. The room itself was cleaned very well even though the room itself was sub par. Be careful in the bath/shower because they have a few non slip strips in the tub, but they don't work very well. I almost fell a couple times in the shower. The towels had a different smell to them which I didn't like. We didn't stay for breakfast because the breakfast doesn't open until 8am which was too late for us. Remember to check in before 9pm because there is no front desk person between 9pm-8am. I don't think I would stay here again since the beds were very uncomfortable. There isn't much for plugs to charge electronic devices. This isn't the ritz type hotel, but is a good location for the cog railway. Also, it took awhile to get the tv to work. We had to play around with it for awhile to get any channels. You will see a picture I included which is kind of funny. I found two google eyes in the bathroom medicine cabinet.

We stayed in Cabin #15 while passing through. Cute retro cabin concept with small bathroom with a kids height sink. Room is somewhat dated and could use more bedside lamps - there was only one in the whole room. Not really near any restaurants and it's a 20 minute drive to the Mt Washington auto road. There were many people there with their dogs. We didn't partake in the pool, the fire pit or the breakfast as we moved onto our next stop. I have to say that the front desk person was exceptionally helpful when I had to print my ArriveCan paperwork to enter Canada the next day. 5 stars for her effort in helping me.

Convenient location, cute property. Definitely could use updating but for the price it’s good
