I came here for a business trip and I have to say that it was below my expectations. From the photos taken from the management, everything looks clean and beautiful, however, when I arrived, the rooms were dirty, especially the floor, curtains, bathtubs and shower. The bed was uncomfortable and once I opened the blankets, I found particles of dirt. I was shocked at the condition of the room. Not that all was bad, the room is of good size and the staff were friendly, however, I expected more from this stay. At night, I could constantly hear noise which disrupted my sleep and also, my sink was clogged and the aircon stopped working on day 2 of my stay. I'm not 100% that I could recommend this place, but possibly, my room was the only one with the above conditions. However, it does have the potential to be a really beautiful place. I found other spaces quite nice and I'll include both the food and the bad photos.

AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS. i was booked in for 3 nights, I left 2 hours after arrival and found another hotel I have NEVER experienced such filth - the furniture is dirty the floors were dirty the shower was disgusting, the curtains were dirty and half off the rails, the fridge stank and the floors around it were dirty, the final straw was the toilet had been used and not flushed and the sheets were dirty. the pillows were dirty, the duvet cover was ripped. there were no towels in the room and a used of body wash on the sink as soap. Dont be fooled by the photos on the webpage or booking sites. it is DISGUSTING. the "night manager" was like oh are you leaving, complain to my boss already. a health inspection will see it shut down

Nobody at reception to check us in and we had to walk around the place to eventually find someone to check us in. Room Dirty, uncleaned dustbins from previous guest, curtains filthy and one fell down and the main curtain just about to fall down, torn bed linen, no towels had to request towels which took time to arrive, floors dirty, shower dirty. Place is a disgrace to a 4 star rating. Never again, In future I will check with Tripadvisor before booking.

Disappointing & will definitely not be back. Does not deserve the 4 star tourism award. Walls, curtains, shower are dirty. No teaspoons in room to make coffee. Middle of winter in Jhb & no electric blanket or additional blankets, only a duvet. Minimal toiletries. 1 out of 3 TV’s in the suite worked. Breakfast was a shambles, insufficient staff. Broken cupboard on full display. Warm milk served with tea. Bedside lamps don’t work as plug can’t accommodate a 2 prong. Just disappointing all around. Suite needs to be upgraded, perhaps the standard rooms are better but I won’t be back to find out.
