Our family spent the holidays at Adobe Pines. The setting has big trees and the rooms have an old world charm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Each morning a delicious full breakfast was prepared with options including blue corn pancakes and green chile sausage. Special diets were accommodated. Robbie, the owner, was available to assist with any requests. Adobe Pines was close to town, so we could easily return to our quiet oasis after Taos activities. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Adobe and Pines Inn. The room was excellent and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We've stayed at several places around Taos and this was our favorite. The grounds are beautiful and the buildings are well maintained with a rustic charm. We will be back.

As close to perfection as it gets. The owner has a unique ability to interact with guests - conversant, interesting and interested - while maintaining professional boundaries. NOTHING was lacking in the room. Parking is easy and plentiful. The 'lobby' kiva invites community and/or supports quiet, reflective time. Attention to detail is remarkable, furnishings are authentic to the area, beds and linens were top quality, breakfast left me wishing Robbie and his kitchen staff would provide lunch and dinner. So many B&Bs go overboard in food and decor contrivance, not the case here. Everything about the Adobe & Pines Inn is comfortable and comforting.

Adobe & Pines is well located and serves a lovely breakfast. Beyond that it is a hodgepodge of rooms with overloaded power strips & uncomfortable furniture on a busy road. Contrary to some reviews, it does not have manicured grounds, nor is it in any way, romantic. You must check the fine print: don’t bother booking rooms with fireplaces before 10/31- you will not be allowed to use them no matter the temperature; there is no housekeeping for stays under 5 days and during our stay, no television or internet due to rain. Lighting worked randomly; heating in our room cycled loudly without explanation between the 60 s and high 70 s and again, we were banned from using our two advertised fireplaces. Owner was readily available by phone & was very kind (even offering a refund which we declined) but this place was not as advertised. Trip Advisor is usually reliable but not this time.

We were thoroughly pleased with our stay here. The location is just outside Taos but only a 15-minute drive into the center of town. I would imagine anyone going to Taos would have a car anyway. It's also a quick, convenient drive to the Taos Pueblo site (which is a must see). The property is a converted hacienda, which is about nice enough experience on its own. Add to that the delicious breakfast and the friendly owner and you've got a winner here.

Stayed in Violeta Room. Beautiful view from huge balcony with comfortable chairs. Had coffee out there each morning before breakfast. Note that this room was on second floor with stairway access from back courtyard. Delicious breakfasts each morning. First time having blue corn pancakes. Loved them! Very friendly staff. Saw other guests in breakfast room, but otherwise never heard anyone else. Short drive to all major attractions near Taos. Definitely recommend staying here instead of chain hotels nearby.
