泰瑞尼度假村(Terranea Resort)

Start by says this location is so ….beautiful, clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, accommodations were on point, room’s ocean view was peaceful and beautiful, highly recommend this resort. There’s no immediate beach access but there is near by

Beautiful resort, wonderful and friendly staff, great location to have a family trip with kids as well as just a romantic trip. Spa is beautiful and zen, a little overpriced.

Great hotel

Worst ever staycation experience. This hotel is just money hungry. Charging Ritz Carlton & Park Hyatt nightly rate while providing a worse than Marriott Courtyard or Hyatt Regency level of services. When you book an oceanview room, don’t expect it to be an unobstructed view. Also don’t expect this hotel to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Room service will take more than an hour to arrive, and all you get is food that had probably been sitting in their kitchen for over half an hour - dry, ice melt, and not much warmth in food left. Clock in the room showing wrong time (no attention to details), unclear misc charges on your bill, and resort credit that came with the reservation only to be applied after making a request. (Both had been taken care of after communication, but they should not have happened even at the first place). I travel a lot for work and vacation. As a Hyatt Globalist & Marriott Titanium member, this is the only hotel (at over $700/night) that I did not receive a welcome letter, nor a welcome gift. Only hotel that did not refill your bathroom amenities for your second night of stay (tissues, bath soap, slippers, etc)…

We've frequented Terranea on multiple occasions in recent years, serving as a escape for us Southern Californians seeking relief from the Los Angeles heat. I find it to be a bit of a two-sided story, with several factors at play. The property boasts breathtaking grounds, tidy rooms, cozy beds, and we've had some good encounters with the room service and bellman staff. However, it was evident that they were grappling with an overwhelming workload, stretching their resources thin. This manifested in rushed room service deliveries, occasional lapses in order accuracy, and instances of undercooked items like potatoes, presumably a result of their haste. The most disheartening aspect for us was the recent overhaul of their pet policy in the past month. This policy revision, unbeknownst to us until our arrival, restricted dogs from joining us at the outdoor seating areas of most of their restaurants and also barred them from the adult pool area. Consequently, we found ourselves confined to a single restaurant, relying on room service, and limited to strolls around the grounds. While the surroundings were undeniably beautiful, this prompted us to cut our stay short. To our surprise, when we approached the front desk to express our concerns, their response was rather apathetic and dismissive—quite unexpected from a top-tier resort. Regrettably, this left us uncertain about whether we would return to Terranea.

Bad service, old furniture, everyone outside resort have access to resort and swimming pools. No security, not safe. I saw man, who just jumped over the fence and went to swimming pool. I went to the employees, who working there and told about this, I asked to check this man. But no one cared about!! No one came !! I would never recommend this resort. Terrible experience.
