Hotel is state of the art, is like a Museum offering accommodation. Little outdated but still very comfortable in a decadent style. Facing the city park is also very quiet. Restaurant service / waiter was very good and eager to help but food eas much better in the past (2-3 years ago). Bad experience with poor cocktails. Bartender must be controlled by the owner directly. A Hugo and a Cosmopolitan both extremely sweet ( with syrups).… and without alcohol. After this experience you remain with a bitter taste despite the sweetness in the glasses :( I strongly recommend the hotel. Private guarded parking is another bonus and the indoor pool and SPA are very good additions. Accomodation payment in advance, upon arival is little strange but not a big deal. Very large and confy bed 2x2 m in a large room completes the feeling of relaxation after a long trip. We stayed several times here and we intend to come again but for sure will chose another place to eat.

I had a huge room overlooking the park which was a bit noisy but very comfortable. Good facilities and I slept well. The small pool was great but I couldn’t get the spa tabs to work - but having the pool to myself was excellent!! Friendly staff!!

Worst experience ever Poorly run hotel Damp air con that’s luke warm Black filth on vents Spa was filthy and damp Place was just run into the ground One of Staff was rude So we strongly recommend you avoid this place it’s absolutely awful The staff was some helpful and rude we checked out and left

Nice hotel situated next to Zavoi Park, one gorgeous location from Valcea county. Walking distance from city center. Rooms are spacious and nice, with old style furniture. We did not visit the restaurant. Diferent story when speaking about other staying conditions, room temperature was extremly hot, we had very hot temperature in the room, even if outside was 4 degrees. Room termostat was useless, we set it for 22 but for nothing. We had to stop air conditioner so we get colder temperature, of course again us did not have any saying in how the temperature will feel. Bed sheets not nice in touching. First part of the night we could not sleep because was too warm. Pitty for nice location. Not sure if will come back.

Wonderful suite, very good conforter, nice jacuzzi. Esquisite furniture. Beautiful art in rooms and the lobby.Excelent place for a weekend to remember! The park near is fantastic and the view from the balcony was amazing. All the colours of fall and the smell in the evening were a fantastic reminder of a gorgeous weekend!

We stayed one night in this hotel on our way back from Transalpina. When we arrived, there were 2 persons at the reception , laughing and talking...sorry we disturbed them! Old building, old furniture, matress hard as a rock, probably 30 years old. Air conditioning very loud and not effective, even if there is a thermostat in the room it is clear that the temperature in given by the hotel and nothing can be changed. It was very hot and stuffy. No complimentary water for arrival, no paper tissues, as is used at 4 stars hotels. Our room faced the back of the building , there is some noisy ventilation system outside so it was hard to sleep even with window opened. All the hotel including corridors and rooms have a very heavy smell of mold and old. Bedding sheets at a very low quality, unpleasent to touch. We passed the breakfast, it was disgusting to enter the food area, full of dead flies all over. We would never come back to this location
