Great stays I recommended

A storm hit the area and knocked out power to half the city including this Hilton. This property had no back-up generator, no emergency lighting ANYWHERE! The night manager had to walk us up 4 floors of unlit stairs to jimmy open our door because electronic locks were non-operable and the only compensation we were offered was reduced snacks or drinks from lobby. NOT FREE, but reduced. Earlier in the day, we were practically run out of our room and hour before we planned to leave for our concert so they could work on the TV system. We always use Hiltons when traveling and have for the most part, had fantastic experiences. However, we would NEVER return to this property nor would we recommend it to anybody!

The room AC unit was set to 66 degrees and stayed on the whole time, but the room never actually got to the temp level. There was a dampness that lingered the entire time we were there. Otherwise, everything was very clean and well maintained. The paid breakfast was very good though it is overpriced. Every employee we interacted with had a pleasant manor and helpful attitude.

did not like that Sunday the restaurant was closed along with the bar! Other restraints around the city were also closed on Sunday night . Would of loved not having to go figure out where to eat and what is opened

The best thing about the hotel are its employees. The housekeeping employees are very nice and kind. The employee who greeted me at the reception was very nice and helpful. What I didn't like is that there aren't enough places to eat or have fun within walking distance. For everything you have to take an Uber/Lyft. The pool was closed. This should be indicated at the time of reservation.

The room had been renovated very nicely - modern, clean looking, with Kholer bathroom fixtures and NO carpet! Instead, the floor was done in faux-looking wooden *****s (way more hygienic and contemporary) I was attending my daughter's graduation at William Peace University and the location was just a few minutes easy drive away! This was my main reason for choosing this hotel on booking it. Also a Dunkin Donuts walking distance - as in, literally at the bottom of the parking lot for those that prefer to not eat at the hotel. Crab Tree Shopping Mall is also only a short drive away and has plenty of shops and dining options. We were very happy with our stay.

The staff at this hotel was great: very friendly. Our room was clean and surprisingly spacious. We booked a double room (just two of us) and we were only provided 2 bath towels. I’m sure we could have called the front desk to ask for more, but just seemed at least 4 would be provided. Our fridge did not work, nor did the heat/AC, so our room was stuffy and (at times) hot. Overall, our stay was fine and the staff was gracious; however, I will not stay at this hotel again.

We loved our stay at the Doubletree. The hotel was nice, rooms were clean and spacious and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable and enjoyable
