"This is a very cozy resort with charming “colonial” style white bungalows. Nice, practical and even romantic. Fantastic location. There is definitely a nice tranquil atmosphere here. A very friendly and high service level from owner and staff. We had half board and was impressed by the level - tasty French/Polynesian fusion I would say, We rented two e-bikes at hotel to go around the island (100 km) - owner booked a lunch at Raiatea lodge and arranged with bike company to have two chargers ready at the lodge. Exquisite service. We had a 10 hrs boat trip with it Ares Tours to Taha’a. Fantastic day mostly at, occasionally in the, sea. Vanilla farm, Distillery, Pearl Farm and drift snokling at French Polynesia’s most impressive snorkling spots - and at last lunch at motu - the lunch was very very good - the Are tour team very competent tour guides. We also had the pleasure to see dolphins the morning we arrived and we got into a kayak and rowed into lagoon where they passed us. We also went snorkelling on the little island in front of resort. Beautiful corals but so rich fish wise."

"I can't comment on the price, as we had this place booked via a travel agent as part of a package. The place was quite basic. No aircon. It is 7km from the township, with nowhere nearby to get food - although you do have the option of ordering dinner from a menu, which the hosts will then go and pick up. There are bicycles available to use for no extra cost. My main beef with this place was that I had emailed them before arrival to ask about mosquito nets - they advised that all of the room had mosquito nets fitted, then our room turned out to not have any. The windows has screens, but with fairly big gaps around the screen, where bugs could easily get in. The communal kitchen was good, the washing machine was very much appreciated."
