"Attention : the receptionist is a big liar ! The guy working at the reception is a disaster. He is dishonest and tried to charge twice the normal price for taxi that we ordered which was already over priced (130€ for 30 minutes ride vs. 60€ normal price) against huge commission from taxi company. Furthermore, they tried to charge the minibar which was free. The receptionist showed unwillingness when we left the luggage at the reception upon check out, even though it was to store for just a few hours, time to visit the old town. He put lots of pressure for check out time even it was about 11:10 and wanted to ask us to pay extra. There was no wifi nor air conditioning in the room which was literally a small cave. No fresh air in the room and impossible to get hot water for baby in the room. In addition, they forgot to put baby cot and charged additional fee for it (first time in Sicily during our 2-week trip). The only positive thing is that the servers for breakfast were very nice and helpful and there is a nice pool. It’s a pity that it’s ruined by the receptionists who were unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. The hotel’s management should alert the receptionists and give them a proper training."

"The accommodation sits right at the meeting point between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore. Very well priced, clean, and the room was great. My only reason for not giving them 4 stars is the communication: I was sending them messages on *********** several days before my arrival, indicating my exact train and asking about leaving luggage. There was no respinse. Only after arriving in Ragusa I received a whatsapp message from Andrea asking when am I coming to Ragusa... We had a long whatsapp exchange, following which he eventually allowed me to leave luggage and early check-in. The whole experience left me with a bad impression. I did not see Andrea or anyone else at all during my stay. Nevertheless, I can mark it as a valid budget option in Ragusa."

"All good except if you are going for the "experience" room which is one of the cave rooms just be aware that the room is damp (the dehumidifier in the room doesn't do the trick). Also, the shower isn't properly sealed so unless you want to flood the bathroom you will need to use the bathtub - that does have a handheld shower head. If you're driving a car, make sure you arrive when the porter is available so he can park your car (hours are on the website) for you do NOT want to drive around the city looking for a place to park."
