"First I will say that the staff here were excellent, polite and helpful. However, the hotel is on three levels and there is no lift. The breakfast was good but continental only. There is no restaurant and no bar, though the staff will happily serve drinks in the small lounge. The WiFi is not up to the job. The city of Ragusa is on two hills and the main street one long hill. To get to any restaurant is at least 10 minutes fast walk up hill, and 20 minutes is more realistic. The hotel is on a steep narrow street and the only parking is on-street and limited. You need to be fit! Position wise it is well positioned for access to the town or to Ragusa Ibla, the older part."

"Visited Ragusa for one night - we had a delux double room with balacony. Easy to find with free parking directly opposite Centosedici. The place itself is beautiful- carved out of stone. Our room was huge, the stone walls inside were stunning. Large comfy bed. The bathroom was lovely too- curtain instead of a door,with all that fabulous stone work in the room. Don't let that out you off! Elisabet was super helpful and the breakfast was very nice- great coffee!! Centosedici is about 6/7 mins short walk into Ragusa Ibla, which is a lovely out town. Plenty of artisan shops, churches, lovely gardens and restaurants. It's a very relaxing place"

"A beautiful and well-maintained location with a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, however, that's pretty much the only positive aspect. The food was extremely disappointing: small portions, questionable flavors, and overall quality that absolutely didn't live up to the price tag. The worst part was the bill. We were a large group, and due to a last-minute setback, five people couldn't attend. Despite this, the restaurant still demanded the full price, even for those who didn't attend, instead of limiting the cover charge if necessary or demonstrating a modicum of flexibility. Considering the total amount exceeded €1,500, this was completely unprofessional. The location was beautiful, but it definitely wasn't enough to make us return."

"We stayed in Apartment-suite Ibla. The apartment is big, bright, and nicely renovated. The bathrooms work well, as does the AC. The park is wonderful, a perfect (in my opinion) combination of curated and wild. The two swimming pools are well maintained (though not new), have great views, and weren't ever too busy during our stay. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The shortcomings all relate to the apartment. The cooking hob is ancient; four slow hot plates with four knobs - that's it. No safety lights to warn that the plates are hot. No drawing to show which knob goes with which plate, or which way the knob needs to be turned. There is no microwave. There is only one shelf to store the food. In summary, the kitchen is barely usable. In the living room, there are no cabinets. After asking, we were given a plastic table to put in a corner, which did the trick. The drying rack for the laundry is at small as it gets and certainly not sufficient for 6 people. Good thing clothing dries very quickly at 30C+! In summary, the place is beautiful and the expensive bits are all there: large apartment, AC, swimming pools, park. It just needs some additional work and money to go up a notch. Right now it is between 3 and 4 starts but I give it 4 in the hope they will be addressed soon (I emailed all of these points to the hotel). I would probably go back but not a sure thing."

"We stayed at the I Giardini della Castellana for 4 nights and everything was perfect. The host Alessandro was super welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless clean and spacious and the view overlooking the pool was fantastic. Breakfast was very fresh and with local food. A very relaxing experience. Highly recommended. We will definitely return."
