Nestled in the woodland gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains, here you will find your perfect home base for an adventure in the mountains of beautiful north Georgia or maybe just a quiet retreat for you with family or friends. Surrounded by 75 acres and bordered by the Chattahoochee National Forest, relax and read a book on the screen porch, stroll through the gardens, you can also take a walk in the woods. The custom built cottage sleeps up to 6 people. It boasts a stacked rock wood burning fireplace in the main living area perfect for a fireside chat or cozy cool evenings. The open floor plan has an equipped kitchen, counter top seating, a dining table and a comfortable living space under the vaulted ceiling. The open air deck and patio beckons you to commune with nature as you enjoy morning coffee among the trees. We will leave you several bits of information about restaurants and even a personal chef, also navigating around Splendor Mountain. The beds in the sleeping areas are made. In the hall way there is a linen closet with blankets and extra towels. Behind the folding doors in the kitchen you will find a washer and dryer. There are 3 nearby State Parks: (Tallulah Gorge, Moccasin Creek and Black Rock Mountain). We don't have WiFi, and we provide a HDMI cable for the TV, for your computer or Smart Phone.
