Beautiful location and for the most part the service was great. First the pluses ....beach is super and the staff down by the beach was friendly and welcoming and they do a great job of creating safety (lots of lifeguard drills it appeared!) and overall the sense of a lovely vacation feel. There are golf carts to take you everywhere on the property, which is pretty necessary as the property is steep and quite spread out. You just give a call and someone shows up in minutes. Many of the drivers have a great personality, just made it surprising when a few of them seemed not friendly--and for us there was no need to speak English--I was always happy to try my Spanish! Ditto for the staff in the main restaurant--some were friendly and welcoming and a few others were all business and not very welcoming or patient. On with the plus items...the beds are very comfortable, rooms are private and quiet, and the policy of free mini bar snacks (with free restocking) is wonderful! The monkeys and iguanas --and sloths--on the property are terrific. There is a dinner in the beach restaurant on Wednesdays, Sats and Suns and since we were only there for the Wed dinner, I wish that the staff at breakfast had reminded us of it and also, there could be a small guide in the room that would include the beach dinner evening schedule as well as a map of the nature trail --with distances. We wanted to walk it ourselves, without their guide, but didn't have a good sense of the overall length of the trail. There was a little sense that they wanted to encourage us to sign up for their guided (for a fee) walk. The food in the main restaurant was good, but not exceptional and the dinners are quite expensive. The breakfast has many choices and again, it's good but not exceptional--but nice that it's included in the room price. Overall, however, it's a lovely place, clearly the nicest place to stay in Manuel Antonio, but also quite pricey, which you know if you're reading this! Trip.com had the best price by far, at least for November.

Un hotel fantástico, un hotel que lo tiene todo: servicio de alta calidad, experiencias envolventes y un personal que enriquese la estancia con su carisma, conocimiento y sonrisa. La ubicación del hotel es de entre las mejores de la zona: frente al mar, rodeado de bosque con una vibrante fauna local, no muy lejos del parque nacional y no tan cerca del bullicio. Prácticamente, es lo que las personas buscan cuando de hotel en la zona de Manuel Antonio se trata. Retomando el servicio, sin duda alguna el trato en el restaurante por parte de Luz, de Carolina y de Evelyn son por mucho lo que más resalta; no es tanto el sabor, el nombre, los orígenes ni la presentación de los deliciosos platillos que sirven, sino el cómo ellas hacen tan amena esa experiencia gastronómica con su interacción, sus recomendaciones y las historias. Sin duda, es el hotel a visitar, recomendar y siempre nombrar como referente en la zona.

Es un lugar mágico, la atención el restaurante la comida las habitaciones todo es tan fresco tan natural un ambiente en armonía con la naturaleza, amamos que todo está hecho en casa desde los snack del mini bar hasta los juegos de mesa, la vista es algo espectacular, tantas cosas por hacer dentro del hotel que no dan ganas de salir de ahí nunca, sin duda mi familia y yo lo disfrutamos al máximo…

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähre des Manuel Antonio Parks. Die Zimmer haben einen gigantischen Ausblick und verfügen über eine schöne Terrasse, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Der Privatstadt ist ein absolutes Paradies. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und es werden viele Varianten angeboten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Aus unserer Sicht ist dieses Hotel überbewertet und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Die Standardzimmer sind sehr klein und funktional ungenügend. Unser Zimmer hatte zwar eine überdimensionierte Regendusche und eine anständig dimensionierte Terrasse, dafür hatten wir im Zimmer keinen Platz, um zwei Koffer offen auszulegen und praktisch keinen Stauraum, um unsere Kleider zu verstauen. Und wir hatten einen gemeinsamen Eingang (Entréebereich) mit dem Zimmer nebenan – und dort hausten in einer der drei Nächte drei laute Teenager! Ich denke, die haben uns ein Zimmer gegeben, das sonst nur als Teil eines Familienzimmers verwendet wird. Für Personen mit Gehproblemen ist das sehr weitläufige Hotel nur bedingt geeignet, da die Wege von den unten liegenden Zimmern hoch zur Reception und dem Restaurant sehr steil sind (man kann einen Golfcart kommen lassen, aber wer will schon ständig auf das angewiesen sein…..). Das Essen ist sehr teuer und höchstens Mittelmass, alles fad und ähnlich schmeckend. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals und der Umstand, dass der Inhalt der Minibar und das Wäschewaschen kostenlos angeboten werden. Baden kann wegen der hohen Wellen nur, wer ein überdurchschnittlich guter Schwimmer ist – und das Hotel hat für seine Grösse nur zwei absolute Minipools, in denen man wegen der geringen Tiefe nicht einmal ein paar Schwimmzüge machen kann. Für Ruhe suchende Paare ist es infolge der vielen Familien nicht zu empfehlen. Auch die erwähnten Minipools wurden ständig von Kindern belegt. Alles in allem würden wir dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, auch wenn es zugegebenermassen das Beste am Platz ist.
