We reserved a second floor room about 1 year in advance, I verified the second floor location several times before arrival (have had problems in the past at other resorts with kids making a lot of noise when we were on a ground floor). Upon arrival we were given a ground floor room with no explanation, sure enough 2 separate families were above us during our stay and it sounded like their kids were jumping on the floor. Very few dishes, no pots, pans, bakeware. We expected and always were provided with a lot more than this when booking a room with a "full" kitchen. The lady at the desk said that these items weren't provided anymore, they should have told us and we could have brought stuff from home. On the bright side the staff was very nice and helpful.

The room smelled mildewy and dank. The odor was so strong we couldn’t even stay there. The property was very old and clearly never updated. Wall AC unit appeared to never have a filter change.The front desk was very understanding and helpful, offering us a different room which was just as bad. Perhaps they overdid it with cleaning products to mask the existing dampness. It was so bad we couldn’t stay there. This is a first time in many years of traveling. Second star only because of how nice the front desk was!

this is a nice motel. as a lot of people said, it is clean, the bathroom is so big, i like it. the thing i like the mostly is the hand hold shower, it is so convenience for washing hair alone. The room itself is nice but a bit outdated fashion. room is big, but light is dim. the bed and the pillow is not so comfortable to us, we wake up a few times. the breakfast is very simple, just bagel, cereal, milk, tea coffee.......but this is a surprise for us as we didn't notice the price is including breakfast. Environment is very nice and claim, there a lot of space to walk around, there is 2 pool, you can easily have fun here. also it is so close to outlet mall, you can walk there.........lovely location

The Mohican Resort Motel was very family-friendly. Our granddaughter enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools and indoor jacuzzi. There were a lot of other families staying there so she was never without a friend. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We arrived to a clogged bathroom sink. I immediately told the front desk manager and two plumbers were at our door within 20 minutes. The clog was fixed and we had no further problems. The motel and our rooms were kept very clean however, we were shorted towels a few times. The staff was most accommodating when I requested the additional towels. The only other issue that we had was that the person who arrived next door at the end of our stay was constantly smoking cigars inside and outside his rooms. My husband and I are both severely allergic to cigarette and cigar smoke. We were under the impression that there was a designated smoking area away from the rooms. Thank you to Patrick and his staff for an enjoyable stay.

My husband and I stayed here from July 31 - Aug 2 for our 1st wedding anniversary. We had previously stayed here last year as newlyweds and both times were spent in the honeymoon suite. The Mohican Motel is the ONLY motel we could find in/near LG with a jacuzzi tub in the room that wasn't insanely overpriced. The motel has been under new management for the last 2+ years and they have been doing a beautiful job renovating and adding new amenities (game room and gym equipment). The rooms and indoor pool area have all been freshly painted and upgraded. All areas of the motel were pristinely clean and comfortable and smelled nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating and remembered us from last year. They went above and beyond to surprise us with balloons, anniversary decorations, champagne, and a signed card from all the staff waiting for us in our room. It was such a kind, thoughtful gesture and made us feel welcomed and special....especially Patrick, Tamika, and April. They also provide breakfast every morning for all guests with many options to choose from. We highly recommend Mohican Motel if you're looking for a reasonably priced and lovely place to stay during your visit to Lake George. 5 min drive from the village shops, outlets, Six Flags, mini golf and a multitude of restaurants/pubs and water sports.

This is a budget hotel. Rooms and pool were clean. Iron available at front desk. The only complaint was the rooms were very musty. Staff was friendly and very helpful. As long as you are not bothered by musty smells, I would recommend.
