Boy did we get a surprise! We read so many favorable reviews we were confident we made a great choice to stay at the inn, boy were we wrong! We had a great dinner one night but they did not even acknowledge my birthday. The room was dirty when we got there (more than one dust bunny) and a crushed Cheerio we had dropped did not get cleaned up. The box spring was stained, the ceiling was stained, the light was out in the bathroom & when it got fixed there were two different types of bulbs. I had to ask the front desk twice to get it fixed. Housekeeping kept leaving only one facecloth and one day they left us with a half roll of toilet paper and no Kleenex. When I asked for more they left two rolls & a box (unopened) on top of the toilet instead of putting the extra away under the sink. Our bathmat was threadbare. Dirty linens were left in our hallway for two days. The room we stayed in which was spacious but the floor was really uneven. Just a horrible stay!

This beautiful inn was exactly what we were looking for. The room was quaint, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the location was not far from the interstate, but felt like we had stepped back in time to a farm house in a village.

The Inn is a beautifully upgraded and maintained vintage lodge that has retained much if its historic character. We did not have the opportunity to dine here, but a local friend tells us the restaurant is excellent.
