Fantastic stay on all fronts, in over a decade of reviewing our trips this is only the second review above a 5. Why 7, well because it's significantly better than a 5 and 10 just seems trite. Where to start ... location's hard to ignore. Right on the waterfront yet steps from the best parts of Old Quebec. Since you're at the harbor, most every walk back to the property is downhill (to be considered with smaller kids). Although we didn't take advantage of it bc our kids are older, there's splash pad right across the street by the waterfront for the littles. The host is amazing, personable, full of helpful suggestions, and (rightfully) very proud of the property. Genuinely interested in where we went and if we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are VAST. Plenty of space for each family member. Spacious bathrooms, very large living room. Access was very easy. There is a rooftop deck which if we'd had one more day and if it weren't for the heat dome temps pushing 30 Celsius, we would have used more. Sounds like when the fireworks over the water are shot off in August, it's quite the vantage point. Our apartment stayed cool even in the hot temps. It likely benefited both from the east facing and being on a lower floor, but the large floor-to-floor heights give quite a bit of space for hot air to rise and be ventilated. The value is fantastic for what you get. Just unbelievably comfortable, couldn't have dreamed up a better spot for our first trip to Quebec.

The pictures don't do this lovely building justice. We stayed in 302 - a three-bedroom condo on the top floor. Wow. Just wow. The beautiful arched windows gave a spectacular frame to a lovely river view. The condo was appointed perfectly. We had five adults. Spacious, each had privacy and alone space, table is perfect for games at night. Couches super comfy, beds great. We did laundry a few times. We were greeted by the owner's brother (owner lives in building) and communication was prompt, easy and so appreciated. There is a parking lot for the building next to the building if you bring a car. Within walking to everything in the old city, lots of restaurants and attractions. We were there in winter, so didn't use the terrace deck, but it would be amazing in the summer! This was a GEM!

We are 2 couples that travel together a lot, and I have to say that Royal Dalhousie was the most fabulous apartment. We stayed in the Frontenac suite. It is so spacious and beautiful. Each bedroom was separated by a very large living area. Thr beams and brick walls are very pretty. We loved the location, just steps from many shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed staying in and watching the ferries and barges going up and down the river. Liliane brought in a live Christmas tree with lights for us to enjoy. This is the best I can't say enough good things!!

The Royal Dalhousie condos-suites is located only a few minutes walk from the dining, museums, galleries and historic sites of Quebec City. We (6 adults and a 1 yr old) stayed in the Corriveau room for 5 nights in Feb, 2023. We came for Winter Carnival, but found that there was more to do all around us. And the layout of the suite allowed us to spend maximum time together and still have our privacy when desired. The view out of the floor to ceiling windows and the east end of the living room was spectacular — we watched ice flowing in and out with the tides, ocean-going ships and ferries, tug boats and coast guard vessels. Endlessly entertaining! The building is very well maintained and bedrooms, baths and the kitchen were immaculate when we arrived. The common room was bright and open and allowed plenty of room for the toddler to play. Liliane provided us with a high chair and a Pack and Play which worked perfectly for our needs. We loved staying at the Royal Dalhousie and would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful lodging, dramatic views, every detail was perfection. We were 3 couples, and all 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were very nice, unlike most “family” apartments with a great master and 2 kids rooms. We enjoyed wine on the rooftop deck at sunset, just popping out for pastries, being right in the heart of Old Quebec, then sitting around the big table playing cards at night or watching the boats on the St. Lawrence, it was perfection. Plus, Princess Louisa, 2 blocks away, was our favorite restaurant.

On the river was beautiful, the view from room and terrace were spectacular, ( be mindful Of big cruise ships because it will block view) restaurant options were so close,(be mindful of the ambiance you want,, romantics verse country bar with wings)nice shops and souvenir shops were plenty. People were friendly. Easy access to funicular for travel Between uptown and downtown! Although walk down was much easier than walk up if you want to try! Host was awesome, Pierre was perfect!
