As a family of five we stayed in one of their townhouses and it was quite good. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. It is two levels with no baby gates for the stairs which meant constantly keeping an eye on our youngest kids (1 and 3), with the youngest taking a small tumble on them. It’s also a little bit dated but everything worked fine including the ducted aircon and spa bath in the main bathroom. The location is convenient for getting into town and has all the fast food nearby if you like.

I knew when I booked this hotel it was nothing special but it was literally the worst of the 26 hotels we stayed in on our 77 day vacation last fall. There was no one in the lot when we got there which should have been a clue. We literally had to enter the room through sliding glass doors because there was no front door. It was small, smelled musty, looked like it had not been updated since the early 50’s. Desk personnel could have cared less we were there and were not helpful. No restaurant there and to be honest we would not have eaten there if there had been one. Tolerable for one night, but I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Price was okay, but the room was well below an acceptable standard. The linen looked well used. There was a 2 seater lounge in the room that you would not sit on. It was old, dirty and stained, and had threads hanging from it. Needs to go to the tip. Shower was good and strong, but as motels go it was well below an acceptable standard. Was going to put a photo of the lounge on this review, but couldn't be bothered, hopefully the management will wake up and get rid of it.

We booked a day before our stay on a night stay over on our way home from NSW to Vic.I rang the motel after seeing it on the on line bookings options and got a booking for Sat night.On our travels through the down pour on the coast of NSW we started to get a car trouble. We decided we just wanted to get home so i googled the conditions and on all on line booking there was free cancellations. So stopping for a short break i rang and explained our situation and the lady asked if we booked on line,i said that i saw the booking but chose to ring direct. She said "oh ,i dont think so, because you didn't book on line but ill check with my boss..I then get put on to the Boss that said no we cant really accept the cancellation because you rang direct. I explained again that i just wanted to get home because of our car trouble. After getting no sympathy i said...Ok we will come and thank you for your Understanding and hung up.No more than 1 minute later he rang me back and said"Verbatim".I will cancel your booking',dont bother coming,your very rude, then hung up on me.I will never go to this motel nor ever recommend it to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking for accommodation online in *********** for a good friends 60th Birthday, and taking my son, His Godson. I wanted something not small cheap and nasty, so bypassed 4 other cheaper motels where the second bed was a single, for a Deluxe Twin Room at the Grand Manor, a more expensive motel which had a Queen and Double for $155. We get there, and unlike the website, the room was a Queen and Single as wide as a surfboard and the room so small it could not have a bedside table or cupboard to put your glasses on and was not sound proof as advertised(room 8), you could hear other rooms toilets flushing all night, and a loud creaking noise as the sun came up as the roof heated up. Not sure if this was the fault of the Grand Manor, or ***********, or a bit of a conspiracy between both, as the Grand's pitiful website only mentions single beds and nothing deluxe or double, thus *********** is taking business away from more deserving Motels. The Motel is very short of parking with tiny parking bays as well, suitcases can't be taken between cars, so it can be a bit of a walk to get them to your room, but this did not seem to worry the management if the selfish driving Mustangs take up two spaces. The Motel was clean, but the room tiny and bed small compared to advertised, and quite noisy. I tried to call them but the call went unanswered. I tried to review on their website, but it does not respond to my booking number or pin.
