Για 3η συνεχόμενη χρονιά επιλέγουμε την Φοινικούντα και το panorama resort..Κάποιοι λόγοι είναι πως τα δωμάτια είναι μεγάλα άνετα και καθαρά (επιλέγουμε αυτά με θέα πισίνα) ,η πισίνα είναι καθαρή και το προσωπικό είναι πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό !ανανεώνουμε το ραντεβού μας αν προλάβουμε πάλι φέτος αλλιώς σίγουρα του χρόνου!

Ένα οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο με υπέροχη θέα! Σε πολυ βολικο σημειο(10λ απο Μεθωνη, 20λ απο Πυλο). Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό κ ευγενικο. Το δωμάτιο ηταν ευρύχωρο, με καθημερινή καθαριότητα κ αλλαγμα πετσετων. Με πολύ καλό πρωινό μπουφέ! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

Μόλις γυρίσαμε σπίτι μας και είναι η ώρα της κρίσης...Τρομερό περιβάλλον,πολύ ωραία δωμάτια,άψογη εξυπηρέτηση και πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό ρε παιδιά....Πραγματικά μπράβο σε όλο το team...Τρομερα καλή Ελεωνόρα,χαμογελαστός Γιώργος και σορυ που δεν θυμάμαι τα ονόματα των υπολοίπων παιδιών....Υ.Σ. Δημήτρης και Δημήτρης....Οι Σεφ του ξενοδοχείου έχουν δημιουργήσει τρομερά πιάτα.. Δοκιμάστε οπωσδήποτε....Αγαπάνε πολύ τα μυρωδικά αν κατάλαβα καλά...

Value for money clean and well kept family hotel. Good choice of continental breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff, without exception. The hotel has an ongoing refurbishment program, mainly going on throughout the winter period , they are trying to do 10 rooms per year says George, I must say there was no disruption and only empty room painting during our stay. We stayed in a one bed apartment which was the furthest away from the main building, but was nearest to the quiet back road to the town and beach, a nice 10-15 minute walk, there were quite a few steps from our room to reception and breakfast, not really a major issue for reasonably able bodied people, our luggage was delivered and collected from our room to and from reception otherwise that would have been difficult for us older guests. Our apartment was one of the rooms yet to be renovated and was a bit dated, but always clean and well serviced, two fantastic air con units, there were a few minor issues when we arrived, we spoke to George and he said go for breakfast and I will fix them, and by the time we got back all was rectified, we would recommend this hotel and it’s friendly atmosphere without hesitation, and is definitely on our list of hotels we would go back to in the future

Lovely clean hotel/ apartments with views to the little town and the sea. Sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool area but could do with a few more. Rooms cleaned every day with beds and towels changed every other day. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Alex the barman/waiter who put himself out and is an asset to the place. The only negative would be the breakfast could do with topping up regularly as sometimes the fruit and drinks were minimal and on a few occasions, guests had to ask staff to for them to be topped up. On the whole, a lovely relaxing stay.

I felt sorry for Panorama Resort as with a bit of tlc it could be so much nicer. Check-in went smoothly (took about an hour from the airport with no other drop offs). Our I bedroom apartment was the best 3 star we’ve had for awhile when on holiday (we don’t mind basic as long as it’s clean). It was spacious. Main bed was comfy, 2 extra pillows, 2 balconies (although view from one not the best- looked on to the grounds which were not the best). Room cleaned really well & 5 times during our week stay. Bathroom pretty good for Greece - not just wet room shower so luckily no floods! Free toiletries & plenty of toilet roll. Free air conditioning & safe. Doors/windows good security. Fridge a bit scruffy but did get decent freezer compartment. Supposed to be apartment for 4 people but only 2 glasses, 2 mugs, not enough cutlery, no sharp knife, chopping board etc. only 3 balcony chairs. We thought the breakfast was good (available 8-10.30). Mostly plenty of choice although not much fruit, and if get there after 10am it’s rarely replenished. Bar was decent with typical drink selection & scoops of ice cream in tubs. Restaurant food open 2-10pm although think stopping this in 2025. Food we had was very good but more meals rather than snacks. There were two pools (both with children’s section) which was a welcome surprise as only one advertised. One by the bar so busier & music playing. The other in a quieter section & sometimes had it to ourselves. Staff were really kind & helpful, the views amazing. Main negatives (reason for 3/5) were the unkempt grounds. Usually find in Greece they take pride in the grounds/gardens but sadly not here. Everywhere needed a good tidy up - rubble, broken lights, empty boxes, bags of cement, litter, all sorts just left around the grounds. Quieter pool had broken sun beds, no lighting, no umbrellas (couple of trees for shade). Grass growing out of pool drainage slats (question how often pools properly cleaned - main pool did turn a bit green on our last couple of days!) Finikounda itself a lovely large tourist village (lots of Greek holiday makers). Although prob a bit busy for us. Not loads for children but sea inflatable (7 euros pp for 1 hr) and a small amusement arcade. Lots of restaurants but menus can be limited & never once a children’s menu which was fine for our children as they’ll dig in to all sorts of food but may be trickier for others. Walk to the village centre about 5 minutes & close to large supermarket. One downside for us was that one night there was an open air local concert that could be heard from our apartment (very loud!) that went on until about 5am!! So would I come again? Yes if I knew the grounds had smartened up. Such a shame a small thing like tidying up doesn’t take place as it’d make the place so much better.
