Dinuda Villa in Kalpitiya is a perfect getaway with a breathtaking location. The sunset over the lagoon is absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. We had an amazing time with different activities, including a boat ride, pool fun, and a small boat ride that was really enjoyable. Watching the kite surfers in action was exciting too. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more special. The food was another highlight—every meal was delicious and well-prepared. From fresh seafood to flavorful local dishes, everything was cooked to perfection. We truly enjoyed every bite! At night, we sang together and admired the clear sky full of stars, which made the experience even more magical. If you’re looking for a relaxing yet adventurous stay in Kalpitiya with great food and hospitality, Dinuda Villa is definitely worth visiting!

Absolute disappointment do not recommend at all. Bedsheets looked like they hadn’t been changed for months with dirt and stains everywhere. We were itching the whole night to the point we had to take something for it. The shower had cobwebs and a stench coming from it. There wasn’t even a mirror let alone a dustbin in the room for the price- which was a very large amount due to the new years season- we were paying for it. The way the staff spoke to us didn’t make us feel like we were paying guests. The food was tasteless, and at one point served us what was left of the buffet because there wasn’t enough food which is not right because we were paying for all three meals. Overall an extremely bad experience and total waste of both time and money. Do not recommend at ALL.

Dinuda is in a great location, not far from the sand bar with the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other. You can watch the kite surfers from the resort if you don’t want to venture out. The rooms are lovely, big, bright and airy, very clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony with views out over the lagoon. There’s also a small pool, great to cool down in, and beautiful quiet gardens.

Wonderful family trip experience at Dinuda Resort. Excellent destinarion to spend the weekends.There are lots of fun activities .we had a joyful times and the food and facilities provided to us were at its best.Also the hospitality of your team was remarkable .

The best view and stay

I had such a great time in the Dinuda resort last week ! Gihan the manager was so helpful. I even got to do a little kayak sunset tour on the lagoon. Beautiful place, amazing views. My room had AC, a fridge and a balcony. Very good food and filtered water in the resort. They even have a tree house which is great to chill around. I would definitely recommend and go back next time in Kalpitiya ! Again thank you for such a great time :-)
