Yes this is a beautiful hotel for beautiful people but there are major ussies with service and the location is not ideal. In terms of service, the bath didn't have a plug and despite request for 4 days they did not provide one. Not much point in having a jacuzzi bath if you cannot use it. One day the room wasn't cleaned when we got back at 4pm. Even when they did clean it was poorly done (rubbish not cleared and new shampoo not provided). Staff at the beach club were rude. The pool staff on the other hand were rally helpful and charming. The hotel has an excellent indoor pool and large jacuzzi in a very nice spa. Whilst this is opposite the beach (where the hotel has its own beach club) there is nothing nearby and you really need a car here.

As toalhas muito velha. Café da manhã poucas opção! Mas é bem limpo. São gentil e educados. Punta del Leste é incrível com restaurantes a beira da praia maravilhosa! O peixe é a Lula os melhores que já comemos. Mas prepara a carteira e tudo caro. Cadeira de praia e guarda sol R$ 300,00 !! Estacionamento grátis. Da pra deixar o carro na rua cheio de espaço embora lotado. 100% lugar seguro sem violência! Povo gentil e super educado!

An alternative form of hotel on first entering but the rooms (which include a small kitchen) are of a very good size, and well appointed. The balcony was also very large and we had a great aspect in Room 212. It is quite a walk from the centre of Punta del Este but can readily be walked. There are also a number of restaurants very close to the hotel, with plenty of choice, and also a convenient supermarket, Fresh Market just a few minutes walk away. The pool was good, and there is also a sauna - no-one else around when we used them. We had an issue on departure, when our transfer did not turn up. The reception staff were very helpful indeed in helping us to book an alternative solution for our journey to Colonia del Sacramento. A great hotel all round

Nossa estadia foi confortável,boa localização,limpeza excelente,roupa de cama limpa e de ótima qualidade,café da manhã ótimo (Solicitei alfajor para meu filho que adorou e no último dia não tinha,e o Senhor que atendia aos hóspedes no café da manhã fez questão de providenciar,e achei excelente pq ele não trouxe só para meu filho,mas disponibilizaram uma bandeja para todos os hóspedes,detalhes demonstram muito sobre funcionários e empresa.Ponto negativo:piscina externa sem aquecimento como o clima é diferente a Água fica muito gelada, mas tem piscina coberta aquecida.

Large hotel on the main ocean front in Punto del Este. Probably when built this would have been an amazingly lavish and grand hotel. Still today there is a cavernous lobby area with grand entrance to the hotel. Behind the reception desk area is the ****** - which I did not try - but seemed to attract constant stream of people - but who knows if they left richer or poorer. The rooms are very large but look a little dated and tired now. Large and comfortable bed, adequate storage, A/C etc - all fine. Bathroom also a little tired but perfectly fine. One comment would have to be for breakfast. Buffet style although for many food items you had to be served from a counter which was a little strange and did feel less like usual buffet. Would also need to comment that a family of sparrows had moved into one corner of the breakfast room roof - maybe they could move back out.....?

Nice hotel away from the centre but still close enough to commute. Nice room with good air conditioning and comfy bed. Bathroom ok, could do with a bit of a revamp, the green mosaic floor tiles look dirty. Great breakfast selection but the breakfast space is small. One morning we could not find a table to eat. The pool area is also smaller than photos depict with zero privacy from guests eating or drinking in the restaurant/ bar (which is the same breakfast area). Staff were very friendly. Parking at the side of the front door was great.

I was in Punta del Este for a conference and chose this hotel on the recommendation of colleagues from the region. There are only four rooms on each floor and so you are treated to a fantastic view of Punta del Este through the glass windows that surround your room. For an even better view, drop by the gym on the 17th floor. Rooms are spacious and designed minimalistically. In case you plan to eat in, note that there are no utensils, cups or plates that you can use, although there is a small refrigerator where you can store some supplies. The hotel is located very near a supermarket and some nice restaurants. Service is friendly and efficient. Breakfast does not start until 8 am, but they were flexible enough to start breakfast an hour earlier during our conference. I appreciated their effort to add something different to the lovely breakfast spread every morning, and to make sure that there was a balance between healthy fare and the tempting but not too healthy desserts.
