Nice hotel - but not 5* We arrived at 9.30 no welcome drink - just asked to download the app which would give us all the info we needed and given directions to our block ( which was approx 200 yards ) no assistance was given or offered with our luggage . I enquired where we could get food and was told we had 15 mins before the restaurant closed ! The app was pretty good although does have some inconsistencies mainly locations are known differently on the app vs reality. Also there are no details of the main buffet restaurant. The room was clean and reasonably well appointed but a little dated. Shower room was good. In terms of food the main buffet restaurant was good quality (not 5*) desserts were extremely good! The toaster at breakfast was the worst ever encountered 10 laps through to get it even slightly golden - I raised this with a number of staff who would reply “sorry speaka no englese” they would then disappear and take no action. The speciality restaurants were poor & badly managed , we had numerous experiences of food arriving over cooked and cold - but no action was taken or apology given ! The only exception was the French which was 5* full entertainment program- morning were usually quiet, with music starting from noon ramping up at 3pm with team members shouting through microphones to be heard! Those wanting a quiet spot to take in the sun were out of luck. The currency change service would only change US $ or Euros- not good Overall a nice hotel with lovely gardens but not 5* !!

Check-in was slow, with staff pushing upgrades. The resort is clean, spacious, and safe. Our family suite was quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained, with great blackout curtains. Housekeeping was excellent, and my kids loved the towel animals. The WiFi worked everywhere, even on the beach, and the resort app was useful for messaging the front desk. Food was hit or miss. Dinner had good options, but the buffet was unappealing—birds stole food, stray cats roamed the restaurant, and some items sat unrefrigerated. There aren’t many lunch options, and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were inconsistent in quality. The pool wasn’t well-filtered well, with lots of noticeable debris. Chair saving is out of control at the pool and beach, and the resort doesn’t enforce its policy. Solicitation was constant—vendors approached us nonstop, especially because we had kids. The wristband room keys were convenient, but I wish they were removable. Check-out is strict at noon, no exceptions, so we had to sit in the lobby for 90 minutes before our ride.

The staff was amazing!! The food was good and nobody got sick! However, if you are a college student I would not recommend this resort because it was very family oriented, I was not prepared for that.

El hotel esta muy bien, las habitaciones son grandes y comodas. Las barras son muy lentas, la comida esta bien, pero no mas que eso. Es un hotel que cumple, la playa muy linda, siempre olas, algunos dias zargaso (diciembre)

The property is very pretty & the beach is nice. There are 2 big, uncrowded pools. Most of the staff were helpful. But overall I would not recommend this resort. We stayed 4 nights. We did not enjoy the food, which could be a matter of taste. We found the app & website to have conflicting info, with no reliable source of where things were or when they were happening, including hours the restaurants & pool were open. The pool appeared to close between 6 & 7 pm, which is very early for adult guests who would enjoy an evening swim with a drink. We never found any entertainment other than one night of karaoke. The ****** was mostly just broken slots. We were without hot water for 2 days with no explanation or eta for repair. Our first full day there consisted of a high pressure sales pitch for what was ostensibly a time share from multiple "concierges". This was approached multiple more times over 3 days. There were vendors set up all over the resort selling trinkets & art that first day. They were aggressive, going so far as to grab my arm on multiple occasions when I (a woman) was walking alone. It was almost impossible to avoid these sellers. I anticipate this kind of sales tactic off resort, but found it extremely off-putting and anxiety inducing to have to constantly say no thank you & walk faster to get away from groups of men who followed and grabbed at me. It was the opposite of a relaxing start to what should have been a peaceful vacation. We will not return.

Such a beautiful gorgeous and tropical place to enjoy with family and friends safe and fun.
