You’re only 10 minutes from the interstate, but, as the name implies, you’ll feel like you’re deep in the woods.Stay a week and explore the New River Valley - you're only 15 minutes to access on the 55 mile scenic New River Trail (biking and hiking trail), 15 minutes to the Draper Village (restaurant, tea room, eclectic shopping, bike rentals, massage therapy, agritourism), 25 minutes to Foster Falls State Park (horseback riding, kayak/canoe access) and 15 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park (beach area, motorized boat rentals, easy hiking trails). Virginia Tech is 35 min away, while Radford University is 25 min away.Some notes:- Parking: The driveway can accommodate four vehicles. If you have more, let us know and we can advise. Boat trailer parking will work if you don't have too many other cars. Drive is not suitable for turn-arounds with a trailer.
