The hotel delivers what it offers, an excellent location, clean rooms and a pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. The breakfast options are few, but everything is delicious and excellently presented. For a low budget, it is an excellent option for a stay. The staff is very attentive and friendly, from room service to the waiters in the restaurant. Sure we will back soon.

Súper buen hotel, nada malo, todo excelente!!!

Buena ubicación, las instalaciones ya están algo añejas pero 100% funcionales. La alberca muy buena y la ubicación para playa de los muertos es perfecta.

Great location. Hotel is on the older side but it was a clean bed and cool room for the stay. 97% of the staff were very friendly and service was great. Unfortunately some have really bad attitudes directed only at particular guests. Strangely those were also not wearing name tags. With that said Jesus was one of the most helpful and friendly staff member. Not sure if it just México, but there seemed to be a form or paper needed to be completed for every step of the check in and check out process. Not very eco friendly and must need huge storage facilities for all that paperwork. Overall, a great stay and will stay there again.

It’s the best location downtown with a great view. A ver good buy for the price.

Ok location but too noisy

Tropicana is a family oriented Mexican hotel right on the beach. It's nestled into the *** area of Puerto Vallarta at the edge of the historic downtown area. The rooms were large but Spartan. We had a great balcony with a view of the ocean. The public areas like the pool, restaurant, gardens, and lobby were gorgeous. The hotel is a great deal too. Nothing seemed overpriced...and there were lots of great restaurants around. I would definitely stay here again!

Too many rules staff not helpful. They charged me $50 for my local friend to visit me. They charged me for coffee even when I had “free” breakfast. AC remote was faulty and not the original.

Todo excelente

Check in was super slow (10-15 mins and I was the only person checking in) which is not what you want after a super long journey. The room is we adequate however the bed wasn’t very comfortable. I had a flexible schedule so decided to check out and move to another hotel down the street. A big plus was the view from the balcony.
