3rd stay and loved our first two times- not as much this visit- the property is cutting corners and housekeeping has really dropped off…No face towels after day 1, turndown never replaced towels, jacuzzi jets had filthy dirt in them which came out during bath, would bring decaf only coffee- alone nothing major- but when all the issues kept coming they added up to a 3 star housekeeping experience. Had a few maintenance issues in room that we had to report-bathroom door off track- curtains wand broken- shower gel pump broken (these are locked so when broken u have no shower gel). Service at lower pool area was awful- I asked for towels the pool attendant said follow me- he pointed to where the towels were- then told me where to return them- never offered to set up a lounger and just kept talking with a co-worker- very clear he was not there to help guests.. I am perplexed as to why the property sends a pre arrival questionnaire asking about items you want stocked in kitchen (costs apply) etc- I filled out and we arrived to nothing in the kitchen- nothing was sent the entire stay even after I emailed the concierge about it.. felt like everyone was doing the bare minimum to get by and no one went out of their way to make stay enjoyable- no one… maybe it’s the time of year (Holidays) but Grand Miramar has lost that magic touch it used to have- hope it returns but I doubt we will.
