Good hotel with swimming pool

There was some initial confusion as the hotel check-in instructions stated someone with a name board would be waiting at the airport/ferry port but none was there - however there were plenty of taxis available and after a driver confirmed with hotel staff on a call that nobody had been sent specifically we were able to make our way to the hotel. The hotel is in a delightful quiet road within a short walk of most restaurants, shops and bars. The pool and sun lounger area is spectacular and the gardens beautiful and immaculately kept. Bed in the room was firm and comfortable and the Air Conditioning worked well. Room fixtures and bathroom fittings are basic yet clean - for a trip here however you will probably want to spend most of your time outside. Staff were friendly and helpful, front desk and breakfast staff spoke English fluently which was helpful. Would strongly recommend the hotel to other travellers.

I’ve never given a bad review on here but unfortunately Hotel Fiesta was very disappointing. I booked a room and got emailed the final price including taxes. When I checked in I got charged (******* doesn’t let me put the amount) but a lot more extra! Afterwards I realised this and as I was checking out I brought this up to the reception lady and she said that she had mistakenly charged us extra local taxes. Even though we were clearly from New Zealand! But she said there was nothing she could do about it (which she could all she needed to do was refund the extra amount) but instead to send an email to her manager to sort out. I have now sent 3 emails since then but have not had a reply. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest with their customers… at this point they are thieves for stealing money that isn’t theirs and not wanting to return it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! And also hotel looked nothing like the pictures in real life! Rooms were tiny and gross!! Even if this hadn’t happened the real rooms are not worth the super expensive prices!!

Muito bom!! O hotel é lindo, o staff super gentil. A piscina tem um clima muito legal, bom pra relaxar um pouco depois dos passeios. Fica num lugar mais tranquilo, mas de rápido acesso a rua mais movimentada. A única coisa que estranhei foi que a única janela do quarto é ao lado do corredor que dá acesso a todos os quartos e prejudica a privacidade.

Great pool, good service, excellent margaritas, and convenient location. We would definitely stay here again. It would also be a great place for families with kids, as the pool is very kid friendly.
