加拉帕戈斯海洋之夢旅舍

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Der Service war total liebevoll und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Auch wenn ich leider kein Spanisch spreche und verstehe, haben wir uns super über Umwege verstanden. Ich würde das Hotel jedem empfehlen.

My daughter and I stayed at the Ocean Dreams Galapagos Hotel from November 23 to 29, 2024 and we really felt at home, personally attended to by its owners Amanda and Holger who are very friendly and their staff Sandra who treated us very kindly. I highly recommend this Hotel, a clean, comfortable and quiet place, that is close to everything. Thank you Hotel Ocean Dreams Galapagos, you made our stay in the wonderful Galapagos a true rest. Thank you!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Santa Cruz. The small guest house is easy walking distance to the main street along the beach where all the restaurants, shops etc. are. It's on a side street so not too busy with traffic and people. They have small standard rooms on the very top and large rooms on the other floors. We switched to a large room which was more than double the size of the standard room and had a sofa, dining table with chairs and small kitchen (microwave, sink, plates, glasses). It's nice to be able to spread out after coming back from a day at the beach. On every floor in the corridor there is a water dispenser where you can get as much drinking water as you like (no plastic bottles needed). It also gives hot water which was suitable for our morning tea. The WiFi worked well most of the times but sometimes disappeared for an hour or so (I doubt this is the hotel's fault). AC and hot water worked very well. Breakfast was served on the ground floor, all freshly made as we sat down at the table. What I really liked at this hotel was the super friendly owner. She does not speak English and I don't speak Spanish but we managed to communicate. She always had a smile on her face and tried to help in every possible way. Ordering taxis , asking how our day was etc. It felt like coming home. If I ever come back to the Galapagos I for sure will stay here again!

Very clean rooms, quiet, comfortable, air conditioning that can be individually controlled in each room, nice showers, great breakfast, and a very thoughtful and kind owner who cares for her guests. A short walk to the main tourist area. We loved it here.

We got off to a rocky start because our room was on the main floor close to where cleaning supplies were kept so the maid was constantly walking back and forth outside our room, which was irritating. We asked for a room on a higher floor but were told that was not possible. Ok, fine. Then we had no internet as our room was too far away from the modem to actually be able to use the internet from our room and although they tried to bring the modem closer, it did not work (turns out the band width was poor). Also the air conditioner in our room did not work (management was aware it was not working properly). After we complained again about the internetand and the air conditioner they put us in a much larger room (bigger and with more beds than we needed), and the owner asked if we could pay more for this room. We said no. And she didnt bother us anymore about that. After this, the owner was really a very nice person and tried to help us out whenever she could. The cleanliness of this place is ourstanding. Breakfasts are good and definitely large enough but little variety from day to day (we stayed a week). The location is also good, just a short walk to the malecon. So, despite the rocky start I would still recommend this hotel.
