Comment dire…. L endroit est très beau c est très cher la cuisine est bonne le service médiocre c est très cher tout est lent et il faut supplier. La seule chose qu ils savent faire c est allumer 500 bougies (je n exagère pas) le soir l endroit ressemble à la taverne des pirates (Disney Vraiment) Je pense que l endroit est fait pour impressionner les ricains… si vous êtes européens éduqués alors allez ailleurs… un seul parasol pour deux chaises longues… sorry sir it’s our policy we had a storm… La chasse d eau dans la chambre marche/ marche pas…. Couchage à l allemande en pleine Toscane… on ne remplace pas les Kleenex dans la sdb… L apéro c est deux verres sans olives ou qq ce soit… on sent partout l amateurisme du personnel… rappelez vous c est très. cher… mais le tout est sans générosité … on ne vous présente jamais une addition, on charge la chambre ALLEZ VÉRIFIER! This was our fourth stay at BSP over the years and once again our stay was absolutely perfect. The beauty of the surroundings never fails to amaze and the breakfast here remains the best I have ever had in any five star hotel. The latest garden villas are beautifully furnished (we stayed at two - Casa Ellen and Maggiorana) and stylistically a joy to behold. I’ve started using their some of their skincare products regularly after our stay last year and can highly recommend the line. In terms of activities, we’ve had the good fortune to try out most of what they offer over the years. My favorite was probably the pasta making class. The pizza making class is also fun and guests should definitely do a property tour to fully appreciate the surroundings. We’ve also gone on a cheese making demonstration, enjoyed a picnic, and gotten massages at the spa. They organized a wonderful truffle hunt followed by lunch and wine tasting for us this year. A good portion of the food that you’re served is sourced locally or from their own property so the quality of the produce is very high. They make their own olive oil and balsamic vinegar now which are both delicious. They expect to start bottling their own wine from next year. Looking forward to our next visit!

The property is stunning, however they don’t really care about their guests. My entire experience was spoiled because I was attacked and bitten by one of their dogs on the property the first night my husband and I checked in. We were told by staff to explore the grounds and that nothing was off limits. No warnings were given of any potential dangers or hidden hazards. So as soon as we checked in, off we went to see the farm. It was raining that evening, so we both had umbrellas provided by the hotel. As we were walking around the farm, we saw the signs for sheep and decided to go see the animals. I was walking a little in front of my husband and as I turned the corner where the sheep was supposed to be, I saw a dog sleeping on its side. I’m a dog lover, so I turned and told my husband there was a cute dog here as well. As soon as I said that, I heard the dog running towards me and next thing I know, it attacks me and bites my left calf. I’m left in a frozen state because never have I ever been attacked and bitten by a dog and I was in a shock and excruciating pain and didn’t know what to do. The dog proceeded to aggressively bark and show teeth and kept trying to go after me. My husband tried to save me from further injuries by opening an umbrella and shielding me from the dog. We started to quickly walk away from the site back towards the hotel and I was so scared to examine my inquiry as it felt like the dog took a chunk out of my leg. We made it back to the hotel and I promptly asked to speak to a manager to report what happened. However, we felt like this whole incident was downplayed and weren’t taken with the concern I expected. I was offered a glass of prosecco to “calm my nerves” and was sent to the room to relax with an ice pack, as fortunately the dog didn’t draw blood. My whole calf was left swollen, tender and was purple black for several weeks, nevermind the emotional distress it caused me. This was not an experience I expected when we decided to stay at Borgo Santo Pietro. Hotels of this caliber should take extra steps to provide guests with a safe environment and protect them from any foreseeable risks. I kept asking a couple managers on duty why the dog was not locked up after hours and why there were no signs indicating there was a big guard dog on premises such as “Beware of dog”, “Please don’t enter beyond this point”, etc. Had I known that, I would not have gone over there, but I couldn’t get a straight answer to those questions. I’m thankful that my husband was with me and we had umbrellas to ward the animal off. I can’t even imagine how dire the situation could have been, if I were by myself with no means to defend myself, or if it was an older, frail guest. I understand that it is a working dog and it’s there to do its job protecting the sheep, but appropriate measures should and have to be taken to ensure that the animal is not causing harm to unsuspecting guests. My husband and I stayed on property for 4 days this June. We were in Italy for two weeks and stayed at 3 different “hotels” that are apart of leading hotels of the world. While we throughly enjoyed our stay at the other 2, our stay at Borgo Santo Pietro was unmatched. Their service and food were truly top notch. Their spa was heavenly, and the daily activity options and things to do on property made everyday a new adventure. The thoughtfulness and emphasis on farm fresh food was refreshing and delicious. Their skin care line is to die for. House keeping amazing! We stayed in the smallest room, but no complaints. The bed was the MOST comfortable we slept in all trip. There were a lot of fly’s on property, BUT you are in the country and they do not use pesticides. I am not sure if there is a natural solution they can use, but hopefully they are experimenting! Regardless, 10/10 stay and we will be back!

La perfection ! Le restaurant est est incroyable ! Le cadre est juste magique! Les plats sont délicieux. Le services est au top. C’est une expérience gustative inoubliable. Les prix ne sont pas excessifs au vu de la qualité. Je recommande vivement.

One of the best hotels in Europe. It combines the Tuscan beauty with implacable Asian-like service and attention to details. A large Tuscan estate with vineyards, farms and two restaurants. But the feeling is like at a top Maldives or Thai hotel, with amazing attention to details, committed service and amazing standards. We planned on touring the area, and ended up barely ever leaving the estate… Perfection.

Wow this hotel is just stunning. Very few places like this in the world - organic farms , huge grounds, honeybee farms (honey in the breakfast to die for), sheep meadow and milking farm with happy sheep, and so many yummy fresh veggies grown there. We had an amazing tour with Amy at the sheep milking- she was great and we had so much fun. Also Loretta checking is in was wonderful and helpful as well. Great service and the ambiance is so romantic. You will see butterflies everywhere on the lavender - smells so good. Can’t wait to come back!!
