Relax in one of our comfortable bedrooms, cook meals in the updated kitchen, work from home comfortably in a separate sitting area with plentiful throw pillows, lounge in the spacious backyard with a glass of wine, or soak at night in a private hot tub under the stars.The spaceBuilt in 1942 but fully renovated in 2021, Astro is a darling mid-century modern bungalow located conveniently in the Adobe area of 29Palms next to a local art studio. 10 mins from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and a few minutes drive to downtown 29 Palms. Our home faces a busy main road so there is some street noise if the front door is open, but the rest of the home, including the ample yard is sunken in a bit to allow for privacy and relaxation.Our home features an open concept space with a cozy futon suitable for one additional guest, a Smart TV with Roku, hi speed WiFi, a 4-person dining table, and a kitchen equipped with dishware, cookware, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. New wood-look flooring throughout the home, freshly painted, quartz countertops, large farm sink in a kitchen fully loaded with stainless steel appliances. You can choose from two similarly sized bedrooms with comfy queen beds, each adjacent to it’s own bathroom stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Outside you’ll find a large outdoor dining table with seating for 6, a wood burning fire pit with lounge chairs, a gas BBQ grill, a seasonal cowboy soaking tub, and a private hot tub to watch the sunset or soak in the desert air under the stars!There is plenty of parking in the circular driveway and additional parking along the side and back of the home.Upon request, we’ll welcome one well-behaved small dog - up to 25lbs. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. ★ PET FEE We do allow dogs for nonrefundable pet fee of $95 per pet. $50 for extra. - We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner's severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding! Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. ★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★ Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 8pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times. Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration. No drinking in the hot tub, please. Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.
