This is a RENOVATED deluxe GROUND FLOOR unit at Poipu Sands, in the Poipu Kai Resort. It has a wide white water OCEAN VIEW down to Shipwreck Beach, where the Grand Hyatt Kauai is located. This unit faces into the trade winds, providing a cooling breeze, even on the warmest summer days. For sleeping comfort, there is AIR CONDITIONING in the bedroom, which is not often found.This is a spacious one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath floor plan offering a spacious 1000 sq. ft. of interior living space. With high ceilings, and an open floor plan, the condo feels much larger. Unique to this unit, are glass French doors in the bedroom, which provide views of the ocean, in the distance. The expanded kitchen design, allows for a generous area to prepare meals, when going out is not necessary. Few restaurants will have a better table with a view!The appliance are all new, and the cabinets are bamboo. It is fully equipped and ready for any meal preparation you might want to do.The floors are all tile throughout, and there is a window wall of glass looking out towards the pool and ocean beyond. It is rare to find a heated pool on Kauai, and this one is one of the best, having been recently renovated. There are several grill areas around the property, so preparing a meal on the grill should be easy. Poipu Sands is part of the Poipu Kai Resort, which encompasses several condo complexes, houses, and a hotel. With a system of paved pathways, you can access restaurants, beaches, and tennis. You even have access to the Poipu Kai pool and spa, which was just renovated in 2019. It is an easy 10 minute walk down the pathway to get there.From the condo, walk down to the ocean and hike along the ocean Heritage Trail, offering magnificent views from the sandstone cliffs. There you can watch a sunset, whale watch during the winter, or just listen to the sounds of the ocean. There is also a short walk around Makahuena Point, where you can see sea turtles floating in the surf, and have a front row seat for the setting sun.Poipu Sands is renown for it wide open green spaces, exceptional pool, and well designed lanais that provide privacy to guests. Being adjacent to the Grand Hyatt, you have easy walking access to many of the island's best restaurants, shops, and beach. There is even a luau here that allows you to experience a premiere cultural event of food and celebration.Poipu Sands makes an ideal base location to see all the sites and activities that Kauai has to offer. Go west to the Waimea Canyon which is only 40 minutes away. Take a day trip to the North Shore to see waterfalls, lush green mountains, and some of the beautiful beaches that dot the shoreline. There are opportunities to see the interior on horseback, ATV tours, zip lines, and even a breathtaking helicopter tour. All these possibilities await you, and a lot more.95% of Kauai is an undeveloped natural paradise that you will want to see and explore.The south shore of Kauai, of which Poipu is a part, has some of the best weather in Hawaii. Welcome to "Poipu Palms #103". We just finished the process of completing an "extreme" renovation on this condo. This was not just a "redecorating", but a complete tear down and rebuild. (Please forgive the snapshots). We will be posting professional pictures in the coming weeks once we can line up the photographer). Everything inside this unit is now BRAND NEW! New walls, New floors, New kitchen, New appliances, New Bathrooms, New beds, new furniture, new paint, etc. The location of this quaint little resort has always been one of the best on the island, but now that everything inside is new, this condo is one of the premier vacation rental properties on the island. Imagine watching a whale breach, or dolphins play right in front of you as you relax and sip a cocktail on the lanai of your very own ocean front condo in sunny Poipu on the south shore of Kauai,. This delightful island home is located in the Poipu Palms Resort, which is a quiet condominium complex with only 12 units and located directly on the ocean front. If you've previously experienced a stay at one of the large resorts (with their large crowds), you will find this condo to be a very refreshing change of pace. The dramatic views from the condo are just amazing, and we also have an ocean front pool where you can relax and also take in the gorgeous views of the ocean. The location couldn't be better... halfway between (and within a walkable distance to) both of Poipu's main beaches (Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach). Also just a stone's throw to restaurants, shopping and the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The ocean view pool is so tranquilizing you might not want to leave the resort, but you will and being so close to everything is a huge plus .Our unit has a five star rating and is nearly 1,200 sq. ft. large enough to sleep 4, the two bathrooms makes this accommodation very desirable. With its great room design with views from most all areas of the unit. Fully equipped kitchen, free wireless internet, washer and dryer to dry your towels and bathing suites. Morning starter kit including our custom blended and roasted Kauai Roasted coffee. Enjoy the on site front desk, Concierge and activities service, 24 hour emergency contact and response, free mid stay bath and bed linen change and trash removal for every seven nights, daily maid service available ( for additional charge), tennis and pickleball courts, weekly morning poolside "mea'ai me kope" with fresh brewed coffee, juices, and locally baked breakfast treats. We have just finished updating our bathrooms and it came out amazing, just an added amenity for your pleasure. This " BRAND NEW LUXURIOUS OCEAN VIEW CONDO With A/C" is a "TWO MINUTE" walk to the beach and has been fully remodeled from floor to ceiling. Unit 172 building 26 is a top floor corner unit of a two story building with a nice ocean view. You have a nice view of the pond that sits on the property from your Lani as well. Enjoy the extra airflow and added privacy by way of this top floor corner unit in a low rise two-story building with great vaulted ceiling’s. The front door is located at the end of the hallway so there is nobody walking by the door or in a unit above you,, lots of privacy! Three sides of this one bedroom one bathroom condominium are open by way of louver doors and or windows to be able to take advantage of the trade winds. This turn key condominium is steps away from the beautiful sandy beach that our resort sits on. Other amenities include membership to the Poipu Beach athletic club, 24 hours of security, complementary towel and chairs for the beach and swimming pool, Internet access and more. Check in is at 3:00pm and check out is at 11:00am. You will be charged a cleaning fee of $268 plus tax by the Outrigger Front Desk at checkout. There will be a $35 charge at checkout for stays of 8 to 10 nights which includes new towels, linens, trash service, and vacuum. Stays of 11 to 15 nights will have a $60 full service cleaning during your stay paid at check out. If you are checking in after 8 PM you will need to let the Outrigger front desk know. We just purchased this condo in February 2025. We did a complete renovation which was finished April 2025. This condo is brand new and just as nice as Unit 172.
