Auszeit im Paradies. Wir waren für leider nur eine Nacht im Hotel, würden jedem empfehlen hier aber mindestens 2 Nächte zu verbinden. Man kann sich im Anwesen einen TOP-TAG machen ohne Programm. Die Zimmer sind in kleinen Bungalows entlang einer kleinen Schotterstraße entlang dem Hof (alles eingezäunt). Das ganze anwesen lädt zum verweilen ein, das Frühstück ist phantastisch gewesen. Honesty-Bar am Pool mit Liegen und Poolhaus -＞ Wirklich toll. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt und die tollen Stunden!

I don’t normally write reviews but the Mirtehof guest house far exceeded our expectations and was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays of our two-week trip to South Africa. The room and gardens were lovely and the morning breakfast just so delicious. I don’t’ recall having slept in a bed were the mattress and pillows were so comfortable. The scones and fig jam with the morning breakfast were just to die for so much so that we bought two jars of the same fig jam from Gay’s diary in Prince Albert. A big thank you to our host Tish who made us so welcome and arranged a most enjoyable evening meal at The Prince Albert Café. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at Mirtehof -beautiful gardens, fruit trees, lots of lovely outdoor areas to relax. Great breakfast too. Two things would have enhanced the experience for us: having someone on hand to help with luggage (instead of having to ask for help), and having someone there in the evenings. After hours it felt lifeless and eerily quiet, in contrast to the somewhat noisy restaurant next door. A friendly person serving sundowners would have been most welcome!
